Hi all - was looking for a good deal on a data sim as I used up my initial $90 Aldi 20GB 365 day prepaid block, and found that Vodafone have their $50 10GB 180-day pack with a bonus 10GB on offer until the end of the month. Sim must be activated by 31/1 to receive the free 10GB data.

Aldi 20GB @ $90 = $4.50 per GB / Vodafone 20GB @ $50 = $2.50 … bargain :)

Unfortunately this only applies to new SIMs, not recharges (which is ridiculous - I already have a large collection of single-use sims from deals like this) - and it's only 180 days, not 365 like Aldi's pack, but sure beats the 30 / 60 day limit most plans have attached to them.

That awesome deal was actually $10.00 after cashback.

      • Activated my sim but still waiting for a chance to use it.

    • Above deal is 20gb.

    • That's only 30 day expiry, the above deal is 180 day expiry. Quite different.

  • I thought this is their normal price, was half price $25 and ended two days ago. I actually ordered on monday and recieved on wednesday.

    • I think it's the normal price but with a bonus 10gb.

  • This is the normal price. Hardcore OzB'ers will wait for a half-price offer then stock up.

    • Normal price doesn't get you 20gb of data.

      • There have been 16GB offers IIRC. Anyway smart move by VF, knowing that a lot of people won't use it all up.

    WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!

    OVO $69 for 100GB 4G No Contract…
    Jeenee $74 for 90GB 3g 40mbps and unlimited calls! No Contract…
    Optus $140GB for $69 12 month contract…

20GB for $50 is an insult!

    • Never mind.

    • That OVO is for a month, not 6 months.
Also, beware OVO… they charged me for another month a few days before expiry without warning.

  • Guys quick question - can I add credit to make calls from this sim?
