Just picked one of these up in-store as a replacement drive for an iMac.
Apple were looking to charge me almost $300 incl labour for the pleasure.

 - Sorry to be so 'critical' on your first post. I really don't intend to be mean.
I got one of these from MSY (new store in canberra) for $62. The samsung spinpoint F3 1TB would have been $57 if they had it in stock. I'm not going to neg, but I'm pretty sure you can get these cheaper in most locations.- So if you're going to pitt or york street (sydney I think) then you'd be best off going to MSY or fludtek and if you don't live near sydney it'd cost you $19 postage. - Not really a deal. Also, might want to put the drive size (3.5") in the title.
 - Why would you want to support a shop that charges "..$300 incl labour for the pleasure.." - He's not. This is not Apple, it's cx.com.au. - That said, for a normal computer shop it's a normal price: - http://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=seagate+1tb+720… - More than 20 stores with a cheaper price. Not a bargain.

 - you can get external hdd's for cheaper than that. - 19$ postage. yeah right!
 - 2 people thought this was a bargain ? - One of them is the poster. The other I am deeply concerned for :)

 - This is a normal price; no bargain here.
 - LOL maybe one of the other positive voters is the manager of CX? - Goes to show you what a ripoff Apple is…
