  • What's so good about it that it's rrp is 1k?

    • +3

      RRP is $475, UC just combined the prices to $950.

      • Same question with new rrp, never owned a watch (just use my phone) but brother in law likes em.

        • Probably just an inflated RRP, watch internals are awesome on Eco drives, but the RRP is too high, this is a good price but they don’t go anywhere near the RRP.

          @doweyy: ok thanks. I guess I'll stick to my 80k car investments then.

          @Slippery Fish:

          Good choice, make sure you pay for car washes as well if you earn enough.

        • +3

          @doweyy: at what wage rate do I earn enough to be able to morally afford car washes?

        • +3

          @Slippery Fish:

          I’d say if you secure a job at westpac then go for it, otherwise hold back.

        • +3

          @doweyy: just make sure one runs a tight ship. Otherwise may not be able to afford smashed avo on toast.

        • @doweyy: Yes. These things are normally under $200 online. Ecodrives are good watches, but there's no way anyone would pay $500 for one of these.

        • @xoom: lol if you have ever picked them and stood on a rotten one you'd know what real smashed about is.

    Well played Op, you've got me thinking now.

      Yeah it's a bit of a funny promo from eBay and not too clear, but there are some bargains to be had in the categories as retailers haven't jacked the prices:)

      This would be to die for accompanied by the WatchNerd Essentials Package.

    RRP 950 and mineral glass? PFFFF

  • +2

    Citizen makes decent watches- except for this spec: Glass Type: Mineral

  • +3

    Don't forget as PJC said in his post - Make an Offer! - accepted: $113.00

    • +2

      So potentially $192.10 for 2 or $96.05 each ;)

      • +3

        We'll need MathNerd along to confirm your numbers.

      • Assuming that a $113 offer per watch is accepted, then the final price is:

        • $113 for the first watch

        • 0.7 x $113 = $79.10 for the second watch

        • Total price is therefore $192.10 for both watches

        • Hence each watch effectively costs $96.05

        This is before taking into account Cashrewards which will shave another 1% off the prices, so $95.09 is the final price per watch.

        Your calculations are correct urbancartel.
