      • +8

Lightning cable doesn't mean it is MFi.

      No

Oh, I don't thinl it's MFI. It's just much cheaper than the ones I bought at bigW. do you guys have any other cheap ones recommand?

  • +2

going by feedback, expect them to arrive late (or never) and not work

local dodgy shit USB Lightning cables are $1 each on eBay

I would only buy Belkin, Cygnett or Genuine Apple cables. I wouldn’t buy any others.

    • +1

      Blitzwolf are quality…..

    • +1

I've had a pretty mixed quality selection with Belkin, enough to usually grab a close enough in price competitor

This is a terrible bargain. Overpriced, and since not Certified will most likely stop working soon after receiving.
    Negged on so many levels.

    I would suggest these
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3X-AICase-Certified-Apple-MFI-Li…

Its $11.89 for 3, but they are MFI and seem to have a really good build quality.

    • Yep… at least these are certified for that price.

    • +1

I have a few of those, even they are MFI cert they failed sometimes, especially hard to connect to my Macbook air, keep connecting and disconnecting, original apple cable worked fine.

    • don't buy from these guy. I bought 6 of these cables and they are all failed. I tried to claim for warranty but they ignored my eBay messages. These guys are dodgy and although apple site reported they are MFI brand, the only explanation I can think of are these cables may have been rejected cables that failed MFI test during QC.

  • Hey no offence but you can easily find lightning cable chargers for $1 anywhere on eBay. If these were official Apple cables then it would be another story :/

    • Not MFi certified though for $1 just like these aren't MFi either.

    JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Not MFi certified. No deal.

Why would anyone bother not getting MFi certified cables these days?
Spend a few $$ more and get a cable that actually works and lasts.

These are just crappy asian imports.

  • Why would you purchase expensive devices such as iPhone or iPad then cheap out over the cable????? Seems silly to me…..just spend the $29 and get the genuine cable then you will have no problems…
