The value of the cash back is AUD $20.00 per valid 5L bottle. For example, if three (3) bottles are purchased during the promotion period, then the cashback claim would equal $60 plus three pairs of Valvoline mechanic’s gloves. These cashback promos seem to last a while. My car uses the expensive synpower (VW507/507 compatible one) so i might stock up next time they roll out 30% off and stack with the cashback

Anyone know what the Sulfated Ash content is? It is not stated on the packaging pics I can see, nor do they list it on their website.

The lower the number the better for diesels with a dpf. If you don't have that then don't worry.
The base number is pretty low though, all cars want that higher as it representative of how many contaminants the oil can absorb and still work well.

Submitted my claim 13/12/17 and received an automated confirmation email within a few minutes.
just tried to resubmit a claim and now they want a race magnet, this was not requirement before and still isn't according to the terms and conditions.
Has anyone received their c/b or gloves yet?
I submitted a claim on 13/12 that qualified with all their conditions at that time.
Today 1/2/18 I inquired re the status of that claim which is now 7 weeks after lodgement.
They replied that they were having trouble finding details of my "V8 drive" and could not process my claim. !!!!!!!
I read the conditions at the time and there was no mention of any such thing.
The email I received in response to my inquiry was from "Charlie Smith Pty Ltd" who I assume is handling the promotion for Valvoline.
It seems c/b is available only for some magnet holders or V8 attendees, it was never a condition of c/b before. Damn! this is quite dodgy

Seems to be for 5L Synpower engine oil for both of the promotion but why grab only $20 when you can also get free gloves?
