Noticed tonight that the hotels.com app was showing a promo of 8% off all bookings when booked via the app. Promo code MOBA8. Need to manually enter the code in the booking screen.

I cancelled a same priced hotel on booking.com and rebooked on hotels.com and saved a few pennies. Hopefully others might find this promo useful also.

    Well there you go, I hadn't noticed that. I ran a search and didn't pick that one up. Well, this is useful for anyone who doesn't have PayPal (which I guess is probably not that many people especially ozbargain users!)

  Unless there's a 10% promo, I generally just book without a coupon and use their hotel rewards scheme to claim free nights.

  I'm only a silver member with Hotels.com but they are almost always cheaper than bookings.com genius prices for me, and that's before the 10% loyalty scheme!

    I pretty much agree. The loyalty scheme is closer to 8% because taxes are not included. And then add on Cash rewards. I estimate that the combined nation is worth 12%

  I find that with all of these coupons and vouchers.
  The pretty much are the same across all the sites by a few dollars
  I usually just shop around to get it a few dollars cheaper

  MOB5 is also available for 5% off.

  Though, if you are staying for 10 nights, then you can redeem for a free night somewhere else.

    Not available when you select "pay at hotel", only "pay now". Free cancellation is still available on most bookings (you will get a refund if you cancel).

  When I tried to use MOBA8 on the website (I know it says mobile app) it says "That coupon has expired". Is that real, or is it just because it wasn't on the mobile app?
