  • One of the few items that didn't have a price hike (based on past sales) when the 20% off deal started!

      With free delivery too!!

      • Yep - that is what makes it very attractive!

  • This or the Philips or AOC one? All of them are 27 inch and around the same price… hmmmmmm

    • I went with ASUS being a known brand and have had good customer service from them in the past (was a long time ago though). Go with what you think is best!

  • Does anyone know if this would work with a Mac mini?

For 27" monitor, I wouldn't get anything lower than 2560X1440 resolution. Just saying…..

    • agreed the res would be better with 2k+, but you also pay a lot more for it…

      • I agree. The cheapest would be the Viewsonic for around $299…

What's the issue? Just because you want to drive a BMW doesn't mean someone else can't own a Toyota. I've been using the same 27" LG 1080p screen since before >1080 was a thing and I'm yet to see a deal on a new 1440+ screen that made me want to part with cash. Horses for courses.

  • Anyone can comment if this is suitable for PlayStation4 gaming?

It should be fine for that, if you dont sit too far from it

    • Yes, it would be pretty good as a console screen for one person playing in front of it relatively close. As it is a TN panel monitor, it should also have a low input lag, which can help with fast paced games whether in single player mode or online gaming. Just checked, most TVs have an input lag in the 30's or 40's milliseconds, this screen is 11ms, the fastest monitor has an input lag of 9ms.

It would be no good to sit far away from it, less than ideal for split screen gaming and if you primarily wanted to play single player open world type games (Witcher 3) an IPS panel monitor would probably be a better choice for the better colour reproduction but slower response time and higher input lag.

  • This Acer K272HLE is $7 more, and it's VA, for those wanting a similar screen but different panel type.

  • Better off spending more to get higher res. Prob wouldn’t go higher than 24” on 1080.

  • Any deals on ultrawides?

  • What's a good value 24" monitor? I won't be using it for gaming.
