    These aren't the cherry switches and i Can't find what company makes the switches so I really can't tell you if this is accurate.

    blue switches are good for typing. they have a distinct loudish click to them so you know when your key registers + they are heavier than browns,red etc
    blacks are really heavier to type with. they might be fatiguing if you have never used a keyboard that takes quite a bit of effort to press
    browns are a compromise between blue and reds. they have no click and have a small noticable tactile bump to them
    reds are light keys and good for gaming and provides fast reaction timing.

    other ones exist like Silver, clear etc I'm getting a clear switch soon.

  Just bought 2 ajazz keyboard from ebay, 78key, 42 dollars each. One black, one blue.

        @zapy: blue is quite loud, black is quieter and nicer imo.
