Very good price for the specs

Revoked my positive.

Best.Aussie.Electronics sells refurbished/used notebooks and claims them as 'new'. See the massive thread on whirlpool:

Wow just found this in your link

"Toshiba / HP / Sony normally do not provide service for any goods sold on online auctions, including eBay, so once again, items are covered by Suppliers Warranty service and warranty repairs performed by sending goods to supplier"

Accidentally clicked positive, would like to vote negative because of the shennanigans highlighted in this thread. I have no idea how they get away with it. Stay far, far away from them.

Please Be careful with Best Aussie Electronics.

• Not sure why anybody hasn't negative voted yet.

I can tell the future

1. You buy the laptop
2. Something goes wrong 61 days in
3. You try to get it fixed
4. They don't care
5. You have just rented a second hand laptop for 2 months at only $839!

I constantly have to remind my dad these aren't brand new when he looks on eBay.

I would also like to negative vote, however since I already voted (and revoked my positive), it won't allow me to vote (negative) again. :(

i'll neg for you

Came here to +1 this deal and then I read about their dodgy refurb policies.

Thumbs down… what a disappointment, could have been so good.

• +2

Whats misleading is they put 12 months HP warranty in their description

It's good (not really) to see that I am not the only one to have a very poor experience with this seller. Seller has extremely poor service/warranty support…returned a faulty laptop and got back a laptop that wasn't fixed, with downgraded OS and no further responses to emails.

However. as far as bargains go, this might be a good price(?) I just wouldnt go anywhere near this vendor again, regardless of the price.

• Agreed laptops scream a need for good warranties, as you see these are refurb and something has already packed it in.
