    Here is a route map.

Some sample fares with the promo applied:
    Albury to Brisbane - $198 (11/2/18)
    Wagga to Gold Coast - $196 (3/2/18)
    Dubbo to Brisbane - $223 (8/2/18)
    Wollongong to Melbourne (Essendon) - $157 (2/2/18)
    Gold Coast to Townsville - $173 (1/2/18)

Note that the travel period is only 3 weeks and fares were more expensive in the first week of the promo, getting cheaper at the start of Feb, probably due to the end of school holidays.

Just some advice, I work at an airport that Jetgo operates into, and there have been some horror stories of them arriving 5 hours late, at 2am in the morning etc. They are a relatively new airline with limited flights, aircraft and maintenance facilities. However, the Embraer jets look nice and I would definitely fly this airline myself when the chance arises, I would just give myself plenty of room after my arrival time to allow for any unexpected delays.

Just as an example, to fly from Dubbo to Brisbane you could either fly through Sydney using Rex or Qlink taking 1hr 10mins and costing around $200. Most people would leave at least an hour between their arrival flight and departure flight, so we'll add that on. Then to fly Sydney to Brisbane it's 1hr 30mins, and cost wise if you're OK with flying Tiger or Jetstar it's another $90 roughly, double that for full service, but we'll go with $90.
So total trip is $290 and 3hrs 40mins minimum.

Or you could go with Jetgo and fly Dubbo to Brisbane direct for $223 (or without a promo code $293) and it'll only take 1hr 20mins.

  • I just looked and I dunno but they were ridiculously priced with one adult and one child, melb to brissy.

You wouldn't use Jetgo for that route, they are a regional airline so there are no direct flights from Melbourne to Brisbane.
You would be connecting through a regional center like Wollongong or Albury, and basically paying for 2 flights. Stick to the major airlines like Jetstar or Virgin for that route.

Jetgo are mainly used so that passengers living in regional NSW can get to Brisbane/Gold Coast in a relatively cost effective and time efficient way, rather than having to connect through Sydney.

  • I have used once to go Tamworth, NSW from Brisbane +$400…
Small and old planes, no inflight service, ridiculously priced airfares because there is no competition and simply they can ask any price they like..
I wouldn't take their flights for pleasure but when time is important flying country NSW or QLD, you have to accept their high prices

….to send my kids to Albury …..

Cheaper than boarding school, I guess.
