  • Code doesn't appear to be working for all Bosch blue… e.g. https://www.boxlots.com.au/collections/tools-hardware-1/prod…

      • +2

Gee, you could have just put it back to $149 then took 30% off that. Tough crowd.

        • Maths?

Got the 18v heavy duty drill and impact driver kit from their last deal, at 25% off. Shipped arrived in 3 days. Highly recommended Boxlots!

  • whats it mean by carton damage?

will the nice plastic box the tool comes stored in be damaged or just like the cardboard box you guys ship in?

    • Refers to the Bosch packaging. The nice plastic boxes I think your referring too don’t damage very easily from what I’ve seen but any packaging around them may not be as you would buy in a retail store.

      • +1

ok thanks for the reply wakko

I was hoping there was a better deal on the ghg660 heatgun but sydney tool's original price is $30 cheaper for ones without carton damage

    • +1

      carton damage?

      You didn't see the
      'forklift in the warehouse'
      video on YouTube

  • Was after the led torch. too bad sold out.

    • Yes sorry we started off with quite a few but they were quite popular.

  • How does warranty go. Direct through Bosch or tool shop?

    • You can contact Bosch Customer Service and explain the issue and they will advise you. Have only had 2 instances - one the customer was redirected to Boxlots for us to resolve, the other Bosch advised the customer could take it direct to service centre.

It will depend I guess but we will do our best to work through anything with customers if need be.

      • Under the ACL, is the retailer not responsible for handling warranty claims?

        • +4

Under the ACL, the consumer has the option of either going through the retailer or manufacturer for warranty claims.

  • Bosch Blue is perfect for Valentine's Day

    • Don’t you mean Beyond Blue?

      • -1

Below Bosch Blue is Bosch Green

  • Are the seals on the box itself still intact?

    • I ordered stuff the other week. Didn't notice much damage to the box at all, still sealed.

  • Good deal for anyone that has the Bosch Blue Tools Ecosystem.

  • Thank you
I just purchased the Bosch gws1400c grinder

Any chance of the Bosch GCM12GDL Gliding Mitre Saw coming back in stock? Unfortunately I didn't pull the trigger last time soon enough.

  • +1

No free shipping to the ACT😔.
Maybe I could get it delivered to uncle Mal’s house in Sydney and he can drop it off to me when he’s up next.

  • Thanks OP. Got the GWS18V Grinder at Bunnings for $279 last week. Will return it and replace it with this one.

  • +2

Thanks OP, I ordered a kit and may actually end up making a net profit selling parts I don't need!

  • Omg I knew this sale was going to happen. Grrrr couldn't resist getting the gws15 inox angle grinder to go with the impact drill driver, two sanders and a jigsaw all within a month or so…. Ahhhhh stop it!

    • Haha I try to take everyone’s feedback on board. Should we really stop running these sales?

      • What do you reckon? Yes stop already with these damn 'too good to refuse' sales please. Are you crazy? Keep em' cummin coz I got money to burn! :)

        • +1

Haha glad to hear. If you see some products you would like us to bundle or you think your fellow ozbargainers would like bundles, let me know and I’ll see what I can put together.

  • Hi Wakko, Bought 96 Finish Quantum Ultimate Powerball Tablets Lemon Sparkle for $29 but nothing being mentioned the EXTRA 32 pack during checkout. So do we receive 96 tablets or 128 tablets? Thx.

    • -3

      64 + 32 = YOU DO THE MATH

      • Above mentioned 128tablets!

        • So the standard offer is 96 Tablets. I didn’t change the product title because it’s been like that since it was created - the description has been amended with the Australia Day offer.

Our dispatch team will be briefed on the offer and will ensure anyone who purchases this bundle by midnight Sunday will receive 4 pack of 32 (128 Tablets) not three.

        • @Wakko: thanks for the clarification.

  • Was hoping for free shipping on larger orders! Just spent $600 feels oddly strange paying for shipping!

    • Yes getting a lot of that feedback and will look into it for future.

  • Are the batteries compatible between the green 1forall batteries and the blue?

    • Green and blue are different ranges. I have both. Not interchangeable.

      • What is the point of that apart from inconveniencing people? Even the one company having multiple batteries

        • Different ranges. Green is home user type, green is prosumer. I burnt my finger. Should have known it before. Green was from burnings few years ago. Now it is hard to find green tools at bunning they promote blue. When I initially bought green, I thought that would be the last series of tools I would be buying.

  • Bosch Blower Skin RRP $107, our price $85 - at 30% Off pay just $59.50

    I'm guessing Batteries not included?

    • Hi my understanding (and I’ve just googled it to be sure) is that Skins only in cordless tools refers to the bare bones tools without batteries or chargers.

      So battery not included.

  • +1

    Thanks OP - great deals!

But an expensive 30 mins just when I was about to go to bed!

Bought the GEX125-1A/AE Random Orbital Sander and the GH040-82C 850W 4mm Cut Planer.

I've now completed my power tool collection - thanks to Ozbargain - so I can now start my post-retirement guitar building career!

  • Blower seems like a great deal. Does it come with the battery or is that additional purchase?

  • Thanks OP, nice deal
    Expensive morning though, $1152 spent
Only thing I'm bummed about is no stock on circ saws

  • Thanks OP. Got the 5kg Demoltion Hammer. $630-$700 elsewhere. $357 with you. https://boxlots.com.au/collections/bosch-blue/products/bosch…

    Good deal mate.😁🇦🇺

    • Wow this thing is tempting, although I only demolish my own places which is one every few years, but even at that rate its tempting. I was fortunate enough to borrow a similar Makita thr last time, and it would have taken me twice as long to do the job with my small sds rotary hammer (which is actually more convenient on the walls due to the light weight but way less effective on the floors.

The only thing stopping me is that I have heard good things about the Aldi on they sale from time to time for just iver $100, different league but for my use probably fine

      • +1

I've been buying cheap ones for years now and they always break down too easy.

Couldn't resist at this price, plus take a look at what these sell for 2nd hand its around 300 odd anyway.

        • Yeah I couldn't buy one second hand, these things cop a beating.

        • @Jackson: never buying power tools from ALDI again , they can make it hard to return after 60 days when it burns out .
The beute thing about good tools is you don't waste time ,
they are there ready to go when you are

  • Wish there were some 18v orbit sanders

  • GBH2-20RE can this take sds and standard drill bits?

  • Any recommendations for a good all round sander for repurposing furniture?

  • Bought 5" (1400) 850w grinder for $100 odd , seems to be best value buy from $245.
And I can relieve my little green Bosch from grinding duty , to cutting.

  • The table saw and stand is a bit overpriced: RRP listed as $1,059, boxlots price $849 and 30% discount takes it down to $595. But totaltools have this as $699 normal price.

I've been thinking about this table saw lately and when I saw it was there at boxlots for 30% off, I thought "you beauty!" thinking it would be around $500. Oh well.

    • Not sure but is this the one that comes with the stand? Does total
Tools price include stand also? I’m not sure if it was this product or a different one but we combined the two rather than sell separately. This might explain price difference but team will have to check on it Monday.

  • Bummer… Was planning to buy Bosch Blower Skin and the DBX2-PEC 2 Piece Heavy Duty Combo but the blower is out of stock!!! I guess I was over thinking.

  • Been looking at the GEX125AVE Random Orbital Sander and noticed there are a few different versions on the market .
GEX125-150AVE being the same sander but including a 125mm base as well as a 150mm base ,
    or l box and 2x150mm ,1x125mm base .
Seeing as the positive online reviews are all them using the larger base I thought I'd check.
Could you clarify what's in this version's package?
If not included what's the larger base worth?

    • +1

I bought the GEX125AVE in the last deal and it includes 1 125mm base and a 150 mm base in the package. Great sander.

I suppose you need Boxlots to confirm what their current stock contains

    • +1

Yep same for me. I bought the GEX125AVE during a previous deal in mid November last year($168).
Was worried it wouldn't come with both bases, so i emailed Boxlots,
Got the reply, "Unfortunately I can't check this until tomorrow morning for you. I will endeavour to get back to you as early as possible." They never emailed back. I ordered it anyway. The part number "060137B040" refers to the GEX125-150AVE, so you should be fine! $147 is a great price too.

  • Seems as though the usual price on better package gex125-150 is $259 at total tools.

Making this deal not as appealing if you have to buy an accessory ($59e-bay up to $89 locally)
to get the best performance out of this sander
Edit. I was writing this as you posted
They don't go into much detail in their description .
Deal ends midnight Sunday so I will wait for a reply
    Thanks

    • Wait no longer…it's out of stock

  • Good , I have 4 orbitals and 5 grinders already ,
but these prices are hard to resist..

An of course the YouTube vid where the base falls off makes me feel a little better too

    • This Youtube vid?

I think it was summed up best by this guy in the comments

      GonzotheGonz1 1 month ago
NO..it is not "very" dangerous, you girl!
The screw just wasn´t tightened enough, when you started sanding. Tighten it and get on with your work. Gheez…
By the way; there is not thread in the actual pad.

      • Yes that's the one, Kao Boy was shocked that the screw fell out and was right put off how it fell apart and how dangerous it was. All 3 of his subscribers probably didn't buy this unless they watched other reviews .
Ok , I'm more concerned by the grinder reviews , but at this price point?
