This review states closer to 11 hours, which is still pretty good. I got mine just before Christmas and think these are amazing for the price, and I paid AUD $35.
Are they need to be push in to ear canal deep or kind of just sit on? I have plantronic backbeat fit and don't like normal ear buds.
They are a canal phone so they need to sit in the canal to some extent, not just sit on. With the supplied fins attached they don't push super deep. If you take them off, then you can push them a little deeper. Will depend on the tip/bud size you use as to how easily a seal is created.
Very good headphones for the price.

I bought this a few months ago and loved it, but it died after a sweaty treadmill run at the gym. Just a word of warning - read the 1 star reviews on Amazon. Maybe I got a dud and I am still thinking of getting another one, but It is not sweat proof/rain proof and am afraid it will just happen again.
