    interested in getting some wood charcoal, as the bbq fuel beads give off a strong unpleasant smoke flavour.
    anywhere else we can get some cheap wood charcoal in sydney??

    was worried for a second there after seeing this and only buying my WEBER Q on Sunday.
    If any one is looking for weber Qs i suggest gardens-r-us. They couldn't do a better price on the weber itself but gave some terrific discounts on accessories with the Q120 i received the trivet for 1/2 price, as well as 1/2 price for the light,a free vinyl case and weber brush.

    kmart have a Jackerroo 6 burner BBQ $399 in there catalogue for tomorrow is this any good? what are they like? I'd prefer something cheaper like this

    Im going to try and refill a gas bottle tomorrow and claim 25% off. I can't see why not because it isn't listed under exclusions so fingers crossed!

        SS hotplates are crap, thermal spreading is negligible…you can literally see the thermal image of the flame hotspot shape on the plate! ;)

        Cast iron is a way better cooking surface, cleaning is not any worse either IMHO…and heating your CI stuff up after washing it will purge water from the porous surfaces, thus nil rust! :)

      The accessories at Bunnings (replacement hotplates & grill plates etc) have fitted all the cheap BBQ's I've seen! The fact that they aren't interchangable with the BBQG units seems to make the latter idiosyncratic!

      This means you are forced to go back to BBQG for parts, you cannot buy generic! ;)

      i also work at BBQs, and it is clear on the flyer that the 25% discount does not apply to already discounted items or other offers. you might want to delete your posts mate because they're a bit misleading and might cost your job if head office finds out

          'not valid with any other offer' e.g. the $499 bbq deal with the free setting is already discounted and comes with a free bonus. 25% wouldn't apply to it.

          as fat as i know the 25% discount only applies to fully priced items..aka 'regular retail price'

          still, 25% off is very good. there's no way in hell i'd give that to a customer regularly.

          means that you cannot combine discounts which is clearly stated in the flyer…

          you can purchase already discounted items but the most you will get off is 25% of the Full price, not the Discounted price…
