The Mate 10 Porsche Design, as its name suggests, has a sleek Porsche design. It also has the most storage of the Mate 10 series with 256GB of on-board storage.

$1591 after discount, "that takes balls"

  • any wifi issue with the pro ?

  • Purchased a Mate 10 Pro during the last sale, from this seller.

Arrived super quick and the phone's amazing. Highly recommended.

    • Ordered mine on Sunday. Hopefully arrives tomorrow!

  • "the Mate 10 Pro differs in that it has a FHD AMOLED display"

Not that I dont approve but how did that make it more expensive?

    • Each pixel in AMOLED is individually lit, making the panel more complex and expensive to product.
LCD displays are one back light for the whole display.

And what about the 128GB storage and 6GB RAM, as well as IP67 Dust/Water resistance? Not that I am going to buy it, but I thought those were features that make it different from the regular Mate 10, which is also part of what OP was referring to, I think.

      • The 128GB/8GB oneplus 5T is generally cheaper than this and it has a similar screen, it's just smaller.
Edit: I've also seen the S8+ and galaxy Note 8 go for cheaper or equal to this

I've also seen the S8+ and galaxy Note 8 go for cheaper or equal to this

With same Storage & RAM option ??

  • this or iPhoneX?

    • +4

at nearly double the price, iPhoneX seems like it's made for the mentally retarded.

to each his own I suppose

    • Which 'this'?

      • •Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design (4G/4G Dual SIM, 256GB/6GB) $1591.2

  • I bought the Mate 10 on a Vodafone plan a couple of weeks ago. Outright pricing needs to come down to $500 before it proves my monthly repayment decision was stupid.

I'm pretty happy with the performance but the only real downside is the screen doesn't get as bright as some of the other flagships.

Battery is not as impressive as a Redmi Note 4 even though they share the same battery size but it does get about 5 hours SOT.

Standout features are the fingerprint scanner (holy moly its instant) and camera (i have taken some SLR quality photos by pointing and clicking)

  • I got Mate 10 Pro from Optus. Why is it not having dual sim? is the one from Allphones different to one from Optus?

    • No carrier would want to sell dual-SIM devices because they don't want to share you with other carriers.

    • +1

Allphones sell Dual Sim Version & it is Australian stock

  • Is this really an Australian stock being a dual SIM?

    • Yes this is typical of Huawei. Dual sim for phones that are not coming from carriers due to the reason stated above.

    • Yes 100% Australian stock

I'm still waiting for Mate 10 Pro to drop below $800! Come on!

  • Might as well get an Iphone X at that rediculous price.

But hot damn that Porsche design is a nice looking phone - shame they didn't do all the mate pro's like that.

  • Alternative, you can also get mate 10 pro from optus for $59 per month with 20gb data.

    • where???

  • In store starts today.
