Well, after (nearly) everyone was disappointed by the low stock levels at Toys R Us, I thought I'd post this one up. Basic 40GB PS3, free delivery. Easy.
Sincere apologies for my stuff up - 40GB, not 120GB. If you are concerned about the low storage space, you can always use an external HDD to extend it
Refurbished and importantly only a 40GB (and I think not the slim version)… so nowhere near the toys r us deal.
2nd hand PS3, with 1/3rd of the storage, for 50% more $ than the Toys R Us deal. Thanks, not disappointed I missed out now.

Aren't the 40gb ones backwards compatible? If so, this may be worth it because the 60gb ones can go for over $500!

Ah, nvm. Only the 20gb+60gb's were backwards compatible.
only the 20gb NTSC ones were backwards compatible.
The only backwards compatitble ones that were available in australia were the 60Gb ones, and even then it was software based emulation and some games didn't work.
Graysonline sold me some 1000TC egyptian cotton sheets which I put in the cupboard for 12 months. When I started using them, they turned out to be a rather nasty polyester, and guess what, Graysonline said it was too late to lodge a complaint despite the fact I had their full description and the sheets to prove the point. Graysonline are not trustworthy as far as I am concerned.
