"SYNOKE 61576 Sports Men Waterproof Outdoor Watch - GRAY" that's currently on sale at GearBest for USD $2.99, and coupon code AFFMPP60 brings it down to USD $1.99 (~AUD $2.50) delivered. That's quite a throw-away price for a sports watch that has alarm, illumination backlit, stop watch and claimed 30m waterproof.

    In case you don't have time to watch the video: it is not water resistant at all.

    Even just placed in a glass of water it started filling with water after just a few minutes. It survived though after being taken out, disassembled and dried.

      Maybe the factory ran out of O-rings that day and they got a dodgy one.

      (Edit) When he takes the watch apart it appears to have a gasket around the glass but that may just be glue?

      Maybe I got lucky but I've had this watch for about 3 or 4 years, couldn't find the email invoice to know when I ordered it but I've taken it to the beach countless times and I never had what happened to the guy in the video. Probably that 'consistent' chinese quality control chiming in… Regardless mine's still working and at this price it's great.

      That's normal for any watch rated 3ATM (30 metres) and eventually 5ATM (50 metres).

      Sometimes I like to time my showers so I don't waste too much water and pay too much.

      Just pay thru paypal then raise a dispute if not delivered. You have to give at least 4-6 weeks though for unregistered stuff to arrive from online china shops. My experience, anyway.

    My Father complains he can't read the time at night on his expensive analog watch😒 (Gave him a torch from a deal so he can see - not impressed. Hope he's happier with this gift!).

    But, light on 1 does not work. Removed back - switch works but bulb circuit doesn't😞 Says check as OK inside watch. Lodged complaint about fault…
    Light on other watch is very dim - hard to read in dark.

    Instructions state:
    "Note: This watch can get wet in the rain, wash your hands, but it can't swim waterproof!"
    So much for GearBest claim it is "Waterproof", shows WR 50M & swimmer on back of watch! (Had reported so Waterproof was removed soon after deal posted.)

          When I was 9 I took a clock apart, but could only make it go backwards. That impressed me, but not my parents - it was their clock.
