Hi all

Not sure if anyone is after an outright iPhone 8 (Space Grey, 64GB)

Found MyMobile selling australian stock with free shipping for $972. This is the cheapest australian stock I could find.

Normal price:
Apple.com.au $1079
Harvey norman $ 1079
JB Hifi $ 1079
Officeworks $1049

At the time of posting MyMobile had 8 remaining in stock - if anyone is interested in this phone.

Or you can price match with officeworks which brings the price down to $923.40

MyMobile has a shopfront in brisbane - you may be able to price match at David Jones and using their 10% off gift cards via the Entertainment Book or RACQ website - get this phone even cheaper (credit to doweyy who first commented on this thread)

PS: Feel free to burn this deal if its no good

    It would actually be better to price match @ DJ’s and use a discounted gift card from either The Entertainment Book or RACQ membership. If you need RACQ it’s $26 per year min so would make this $900.80, otherwise if you already have it then it’ll be $874.80.

      I looked into that - DJ's don't price match online retailers - while I can see MyMobile have a store in Brisbane, I am in adelaide and wasn't too sure it would fly with DJ's.

      Anyway - for those in Brisbane - price matching at DJ's using discounted gift cards would be even cheaper!

          @blairis: no, I didn’t do it. I went to Harvey Norman and they had a $59 plan with a Samsung Galaxy 8. I didn’t but that either… I’m kind of stuck.

          @blairis: I Went to Robina this morning to get it and apparently only the Queen st store sells phones 😕. I tried Officeworks (two stores) and they won’t do it either as th warranty isn’t the same - the phone on offer has to be returned to the store in Brisbane - it can’t just be taken to an Apple store l. Hence, I’m still phoneless.

          @LXE3: Thats not true - you've been sold a pup!

          The phone listed is AUS stock with full manufacturers local warranty which means you can take it to an apple store. MyMobile also sell HK stock which has a different warranty.

          @LXE3: I got mine pice beat at office works by calling the number on their website. Guy had no issues in beating the price by 5%

          How else can I get it price matched? can anyone share their invoice?

    Dont know if anyone is keeping tabs on this thread - but you can get the iPhone 8 cheaper currently with the 10% off eBay promotion. Its $976 here

    Just adding to this thread.

    Visited the Coburg Officeworks today to see if they would price beat this. The dude behind the counter was a real doush as first he claim that MyMobile was grey import, then that the warranty was different, but when he could not find any evidence of this after spending a good 5 mins on their website, he said the return fee to MyMobile is $15 which is different to Officework's policy (free return), hence they will not beat this price.

    So I called the Officeworks national number and got the sales person to price beat this deal, which they did!

    Bottom line is don't bother with the store person and call 1300 OFFICE to get the price beat instead!

      So, how does this work? If they price match over the phone, did you need to order at the same time or do you get any confirmation for price match so that you can bring this to the local stores?

        Sorry just saw this. No, I bought it over the phone with credit card. The phone was shipped next day for free.
