  • is it just a code that I can then redeem on my main Microsoft account

  • +4

Can confirm it is a 25 digit code so you can redeem it on your regular account or even give it away to someone :-)

  • +2

    This is very good!!!

    • +2

      Thanks

      • +1

        You're welcome!

        • +3

          Thanks for welcoming me lol

  • +3

Perfect for when sea of thieves comes out on game pass! so excited for that game

  • +1

Good work. Be sure to grab 14 day free trial and then get this offer to stack next.
    Worked fine :-)

    • Where do you get the 14 day trial from? And does it work if you have already had a prior sub?

      • +1

        Must be new subs only?

Just advert on main xbox site for game pass trial.

  • +2

Signed up for auto-renew for an extra free month. Pretty sure we can unsubscribe anytime and still keep that 2Nd free month.

    • I cant unsubscribe. "We ran into an error while disabling autorenew of Xbox Game Pass". Are you able to unsubscribe?

Should add that I have been getting this error for months. I activated the autorenew for an extra month a while ago during a previous deal.

    • Confused about this. When I purchased the $1 for 1 month deal from Microsoft, it had auto-renew on. After it is activated, I went in and disabled it. I most certainly did not get another month free. Are you sure that you don't even need to renew it for 1 month to get it free?

      • +1

Positive. I entered code on xbox console if that matters. Also I didn't pay to get this.

  • +1

    Do these stack?

    • Interested to know this as well. My game pass just expired a few days ago. Not too keen to renew it right away. Already played games which I was interested in. Some new games later this year… prefer to save the codes for later.

    • +2

After trying a couple, can confirm you can stack, but interestingly they don't add a month but 28 days once stacking per code.

  • Can we get multiple and stack these?

  • I tried 3 accounts and only my usa account got a code…

    • I tried a new account and set the region to Australia. I did get the code (after going into the rewards page, the first reward deal is the 1 month game pass. The e-mail with the code was sent fairly quickly. Phone verification was needed.

      • so we can create multiple accounts and stack these… I'll keep trying

        • My old account, which already signed up for rewards didn't get this offer.
I am going to try other accounts since I missed out on the much easier / better MasterCard deal.

        • @netsurfer:

I managed to get it to work with my USA account…

Just tried to sign up with a new account using my bigpond, it said i had a reward waiting for me but nothing appeared…

Just managed to get one with my japanese account as well

Trying my UK account but its not working…

I got two codes out of 4 accounts… its an AU offer only…

Hopefully I can figure out how to get this to work, get a few more codes

        • @Nickwpearce: It's not that difficult. Do you have multiple e-mail accounts yet to sign up for Microsoft accounts? If yes, just sign them up and redeem.

        • +1

          @netsurfer:

I just tried and it didnt work for me :(

maybe tracking ip address this time?

        • @Nickwpearce: Mine took 24hrs to be sent

  • +1

I'm digging Game Pass a great deal from the MasterCard deal, I'm gonna stack my way to 3 years now. Thanks OP!

    • What is the Mastercard deal?

      • +1

        was

Basically all you had to do was type in the first 6 digits of a MasterCard number onto their website and it would send you a code for a month of their service. I stacked a year, some people stacked the full 3

This deal is a lot more hassle, but I'm determined.

        • Oh yeah. That jogged my memory. I got a bunch of codes through that but because I didnt apply them straight away I missed out as they had started blocking codes when I did go to do it.

        • @Noddy Doldrums: Bugger.

I'm nearly done trying to get my first month free from this deal. My computer didn't want to load the captcha on a new account and it was a hassle. Let's see if I can get anything out of this.

        • Ok i managed to get 4 months so far, waiting on a couple of emails… but they just told me Ive used my mobile number too many times…

Also need to use private browser when creating a new account/email

        • @Nickwpearce: I have 3 so far, using a VPN to bypass the phone limit when creating accounts. But now after i do the deal it says "pending" and it's been at least an hour.. maybe they're onto us! lol

        • @OzGuy93:

          ahh vpn ill try that…

but yeah the codes are not coming through

oh my friend just sent me a code worked for her (she doesnt have an xbox lol)

        • @Nickwpearce: lol nice! yeah i might have to bug some relatives for this. my number is blacklisted or something from the dominoes promotion haha.

  • No free pizza :(

    • try multiple emails and sign up to new account, use chrome or firefox in private window mode

      • Lol that won't work as the dominos promotions has ended.

    • I've still got 2 :)

      • +1

I got 2 as well from last deal and used them on a Sunday to avoid surcharge.

  • Email doesn't arrive instantly? Anyone still waiting?

    • Emails arrive instant for me, redeemed 4 thus far.

      • for longstanding accounts? or new accounts?

Longstanding i got the emails instantly, fresh accounts. Nothing yet.

        • Longstanding, I have quite a few old hotmail accounts :)

        • @ryanlundie:

I was getting instantly on old and new… now nothing on new accounts… been a few hours…

        • @Nickwpearce:

          Yep they’re onto it!

        • @katz:

Just stacked my codes straight away lol, up to september now so thats not bad. Hopefully the 6 month codes come out in march a bit cheaper

        • @Nickwpearce:

Good job I got a fair bit also but now no emails at all coming in. Wait the “24 hours” and see :)

        • @katz:

yeah they blocked my phone number for a day as well, but vpn does bypass that

I'll chjeck tomorrow as well, good luck!

        • @Nickwpearce:

how do you know they blocked your ph number?

        • +1

          @katz:

it said number used too many times, but i used a vpn to bypass it

        • @Nickwpearce:

          Any emails so far ?

        • @Nickwpearce:
          What VPN do you use?

  • just checked no emails for my new accounts…Think its all over for new accounts maybe…

    • +1

If you use the same mobile phone number repeatedly, even if the system lets you and generates verification codes for you, you will end up seeing the redeemed order in pending status (and not getting the e-mail). I had two pending. Decided to try a new number on the following new account attempt, and the e-mail with the code arrived pretty much immediately.

So, once you don't get a code right away for a new account, and it says the order is pending, don't use that mobile number for the next account. Don't use VPN to trick/bypass the mobile phone number already in used too many times. Microsoft already warned you that you used the same mobile number too many times (basically it was a nice way of telling you that you are abusing the system).

If you only have one mobile number, then it will be up to Microsoft to decide whether they want to fulfill those pending orders.

      • I just got 3 more codes by using gmail accounts, and by skipping the mobile verificiation by changing to the UK.

But getting the code i used my landline number as i dont have my work mobile on me, but my last code was pending as well so it seems my landline number is now stopped.

I'll try from work tomorrow using my work mobile….

        • The mobile verification for the account doesn't really matter I found. It is the number they want you to enter when claiming the 1 month game pass. The limit appears to be 3 per phone/mobile number.

There is no need to use VPN. You just need e-mail accounts and mobile phone numbers (or landline numbers).

        • @netsurfer:

100% the verification code to confirm new account sometimes wants a captha or a phone number at that point if u use a vpn (like someone else said to above) it changes to email or captha verification instead.

I'll use my work mobile tomorrow try get another 3

        • @Nickwpearce: I meant that you don't have to change the mobile phone number for the initial account verification (it's the game pass redemption that needs a mobile that hasn't been used more than 3 times). Interestingly, mobile phone verification for initial account activation only started for me after activating more than 3 accounts on the same PC.

I just don't think most people are in your situation (having a lot of accounts already activated but with just one mobile number so that VPN is required to make life easier). As for why VPN "seems" to bypass it is because you essentially changed your IP address when VPN is used. It wasn't the region change that triggers it. I think you jump to the conclusion too early sometimes.

For most people getting 1 or 2 (or maybe 3) codes, they shouldn't run into any issue and VPN is unnecessary. For people with multiple mobile phone numbers (or you have a big family), you don't need VPN either. VPN doesn't solve the problem (proof: you still need different mobile numbers to get more codes), multiple mobile phone numbers is the solution (not VPN).

        • @nickwpearce

how many attempts were you able to get on the landline?

  • +1

Thanks for this. I just did it on my outlook account I have used for at least a year now and got the code via email straight away.

  • Anyone who stacked codes confirm if they got the one month free for auto renew being enabled?

    • +1

Yes, I can confirm you do get extra 1 month free for the first code with auto-renew. Here are the steps:

      • Start the 14 day trial (using XB1(S/X) console) and select auto-renew (by default it is selected).
      • Enter / redeem the first 1 month free game pass code (again on the console) and leave auto-renew on (it tells you that you will get 1 month free by doing so).
      • Manually check the expiry date on a browser on a PC (to confirm the extra 1 month has been applied).
      • Disable auto-renew from a browser (on a PC).
      • Enter the second 1 month free game pass code (on the console). This time, it does not give you an option to turn on auto-renew.

The end result is 3 months + 14 days (with only 2 codes used). Hope that helps.

      • I entered the first code after the free trial as directed above…. no 1 month free for me at all. Checked on browser and console, says 3/18, ie 18/03 (14 days free + 1 month), so new extra month added. Auto renew was already on after the free trial started and never got a message about 1 month free :( Is this becuase I had it before and Im not a new person to GamePass ?

        • If you didn't get the message about 1 month free, then you wouldn't get it. I had GamePass before (paid $1 for 1 month back in Dec 2017 ; expired 2 weeks ago), never had the 14 day trial before. I was surprised that Microsoft let me have 14 day trial this time and 1 month free for auto renew when redeeming the first voucher.

Maybe contact Xbox support to find out why you weren't offered the extra month for keeping auto-renew on. Or, sign up another account and get another voucher. Could be the region set on your account. My voucher was from an account set to AUS region (and before confirming the redeem, the screen showed a message saying extra 1 month for auto-renew). Anyway, remember to turn off auto-renew.

        • @netsurfer:

Yep worked for me. First code with auto renew gave extra free month. Disabled auto renew and added 2nd code and now have 3 months. What's max number people have stacked. Still have 3 more codes to use. Wonder when these expire?

        • @netsurfer:

Interesting, the same situation as with me, dec $1 deal, expired a few days ago etc. Acct always been AUS. But didnt get the extra month……I will get over it.

  • Awesome. Thanks mate.

  • I have been sent 2 codes from the above method, enter both on the console, both come up as invalid. What can i be doing wrong? I had the game pass, but expired a few days now.

Should I be entering the codes on a pc? But netsurfer says to enter them on the console? Do u have to put in the 14 day trial first? Thought I would not be eligible as I already have had it for a month ?

  • For free, it's awesome and I've gotten some ok value out of paying for it but the lack of consistent new games to the pass is a bit lacking

  • Does this work for 360? I dont have xbox one, doesn't seem like I can play the 360 games in the list.

  • Anyone know when the codes expire?

    • I'd just apply straight away and stack them if you're worried.

  • Hey guys, if anyones still trying to get more codes, Just a tip. Any email accounts that were saying pending on the order. I checked those emails 2 days later and got the codes.

I've got 12 from two numbers so far.

    • How are you doing this exactly. Iv tried with multiple emails and it worked the first 2 but then it said failed.

    • Mine says declined. One of them, Microsoft suspended the rewards account completely stating violating terms and conditions.

  • yeah i think its died!

  • -1

If you have never bought a subscription to gamepass and have not activated the 14-day trial, I HIGHLY recommend NOT starting the 14-day trial if you have that option. If you have never subscribed, and are using the code from this deal, you'll get the option to add an additional month on top of that code, if you enable automatic renewals (Only for the first code)

Starting that 14-day gamepass trial subscription WILL NOT give you that extra 1 month renew option after the first code, I can confirm this.

I recommend using the promo code, checking 'yes' to automatic renewals, check your billing account on xbox.com to confirm that you have two months of game pass, turn off renewal and then add more codes

Doing it this way gives you 2 Months from the start, as opposed to 1 month + 14 days.

    • +1

I started the 14 days trial, then the 1 month code, I received 2 months + 14 days. The account was an old account (not a new account) and I used to have GamePass membership. The step by step instructions I provided earlier on was tested. So the blanket statement that it doesn't work is incorrect.

Whether you will get the extra 1 month has nothing to do with the 14 day trial. It has to do with whether Microsoft offers you that extra 1 month when you entered your first 1 month free code.

The bit I don't get is some people have received up to 6 codes from Microsoft and those people don't even +ve vote this deal.

      • Then can you explain why when I first entered the promo code, I got the extra month promo (which then i declined to start my 14-day trial first), and then after starting the trial, the +1 month promo wasn't available?

I followed your instructions above to a t, and it did not work, you also said you used to have game pass but the extra month promo still worked? I used to have game pass as well, I used a 1 month promo code from PAXAus, which ended in December.

I just don't understand how I lost that extra month… I know i lost like 16 or so days of gamepass, but still.

        • You didn't follow the instructions step by step. You altered the steps (you did step 2 first, but cancelled it, then started all over again). You were probably worried about it not working so that you opted to enter the 1 month code to see if you get the extra month. It looks like the very first time Microsoft offers you that 1 month extra for agreeing to auto renew, you must accept it. Microsoft appears to flag it in their system that they offered to you already so that you don't get another one later on.

Maybe after you finished the current GamePass subscription, try a different account. Hopefully, Microsoft offers it to that account. Or, hopefully, after a while, Microsoft's system will detect you didn't accept the offer and offers to you again.
