WHAT IS IT?
I would google, but i prefer the ozbargain peeps rundown.
Basically a primarily text/story based game with a very basic interface… as you progress you unlock more things you can do, including resource management, then eventually exploring a land & discovering more things…
Bout the best I can do without giving the story away.
For free, get it… even if you don’t play it right away, keep it for a rainy day or when you have some time with nothing to do & no internet access… it kept me occupied for a while when I was on a cruise a couple years ago.
Have played through a couple of times and enjoyed it. Worth your time.

I downloaded this for free a couple of years ago, but uninstalled it quickly afterwards. Very boring "game".

Same here. Played for 15 mins last night, just could not get into it and found boring.
Reviews are great so I must just not be a rpg type person..It took me about 10-15 minutes to get into it but I can see how it can be a turn off for some people.
If it's not capturing your attention after 5 minutes, then it's definitely not a game for you.
In the developer commentary, the original web version was a lot worse and he was toying around with how long you had to wait for the campfire to start and all that before the user clicked away; so he's come a long way since then and mobile version is a lot better now.
It's coming up as $2.99 for me :(
It's a lot strange. Text based resource management, buts it's cool enough. Dark story, I've kept it installed.
Can't stand turn based games.
This isn't one.
Also the XCOM games are the best games ever made.

Simply Not for me. Played, bored,uninstalled in seconds.
I didn't get how I could like it, but I did, and finished it last time it was free. Started off like wtf is this, then was addicted. Great game.
