  I had an experience with Vanguard tripod. One of the leg broken from after just few uses. Never again.

      Mine last 10+ years still going strong, only the camera hold pad give out, used an ikea non-slip and fix it.

  How heavy is it? Probably weighs as much as my hand carry alone.

  Good job BA. Congratulations on your 100th post.

  About the Amazon reviews, be a little wary of those as the combined score of 4.1 is for the VEO group of tripods (204AB, 235AB, 235AP and 265AB), not 204AB alone. 204AB is the cheapest of the lot.

  Also I could see 3-4 instances of legs broken reported in the reviews.

    thanks .. i was not hoping for bang on post but good price for this and i hope The good guys will have return / warranty incase something goes wrong.
