  • Any micro-USB cables?

    • +2

Tronsmart have new micro USB cables out later this month that I'll be able to do a deal on.

Honestly, with USB2.0, the amp won't be high enough for fast charging. If no fast charging, why USB-C….

Their description is pretty terrible. It's not just a new connector for USB 2.0 - USB-C can negotiate power delivery up to 100W (20V at 5A) in addition to providing high-speed data path for DisplayPort and other connectivity

      https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/159552/how-d…

Edit: I think I see where you are coming from - one of the pictures shows a USB-C to USB-A (USB 2.0?) cable… but all the other pictures and description says USB-C to USB-C. Odd.

      • So can these charge at 3A to rapid charge devices such as a Nexus 6P?

      • +1

So it is just a type C connector, but the speed is still USB2.0 (480 Mbit/s), neither USB3.1 (10 Gbit/s) nor USB3.0 (5.0 Gbit/s), which means it is a USB2.0 cable with type C connector.

  • Any chance of some 3.0m lightning cables?

  • Any MFi lightning cables?

  • Description doesn't say if the cables support charging 15" MacBook Pro '17 at full speed delivering 87W.

    • For ~$5, I doubt it. Listed as a USB 2.0 cable, I doubt it.

  • Anymore USB C 3 pack deal ? Missed out last time :(

  • Any deal on MFI USB C to lightning cable for iPhone X?

  • If they aren't Benson approved, there's no way I'd be using them for charging!

    • Benson hasn't been reviewing cables for over a year now. Thankfully Tronsmart cables are using the proper resistors and so forth.

  • Doesn't state how many amps it is.

  • Didn't state of it supports qc3. Ie 3.2v - 20v.
