Am I the only one that wishes they were a criminal that required burner phones?

  • Will this work on the woolworths network?

    • May be with a homebrand sim

    • Yes, once you unlock it.

Do they still make phones with non color screens? Wanted a simple phone for an elderly person, but with a low res, always on, no-colour screen for longer battery life.

    • The trick is to find one with a simple phonebook. Iā€™ve found with the large button mono screen phones that while theyre fine for visibility, the user interface is lacking. I find a similar thing with ā€œcordless telephonesā€.

The phone posted by OP is actually quite user friendly and is a hark back to the ā€œoldā€ nokia. You can see the manual on zteā€™s page and it shows the logic in menu.

Might be worth a shot for the money (plus the unlocking) and a basic aldi sim or similar.

    • No, and you can't even get a used one with 3G.

      • Oh I forgot about that. All the old phones are paperweights now.

  • This or iPhone X?

    • +3

iPhone X or 225 of these?

      FTFY

  • I got one for mum the other day at $9 to use with Aldi sim, but it didn't work. Needed network unlocking šŸ˜’

Lol that almost made me fall of my chair. A pure ozbargainer would drive to OW and price match to save 40 cents :D

    Highlight is the 5x zoom

  • I know you can swap (or even cut) but do these phones take the original big-@ss standard SIMs?

Yes. Yes it does take Standard SIM card (2FF) (Ref: http://www.ztemobiles.com.au/F327S.htm)

    • the original big-@ss standard SIMs?

Original bigarse 1990's SIMS are credit card size, and they still often are sold that size.

Today we have mini, micro and nano SIMs in use.

Damn it man, I 'bit' about a month ago when they were $9. I got ripped, and I feel nauseous :(

Me too - dammit, if I'd just waited, I could have saved $1. I've failed as an Ozbargainer …. LOL
