  Red Balloon is one expensive website - even with the discounts offered! Better off trying Groupon!

  Last year, I received a Red Balloon voucher from the purchase of my Lenovo lappy and honestly I couldn’t find a single value for money experience / product available on their website. Perhaps other people may have had better experiences. :(

    There is the odd exception but usually somewhere that costs a lot of money and requires a holiday to get to. And often there are better discount vouchers elsewhere anyway. I'm guessing they are a typical high markup low value business.

    The only time i find them worthwhile is when the gift cards are 40+% off.
