  • Cheaper equivalent at Bunnings in 3….2….1…

    • +2

This is the closest I could find on Bunnings website and its $107 https://www.bunnings.com.au/brilliant-lighting-30w-led-range…

      • Bunnings have choked a similar profit on the retractable clothes line before, so will wait and see.

        • those cloth line were marked down to $40 in Adelaide in a few Aldi stores.
          2.1m retractable

  • had a look but cant see …where are the adjustment knobs located on the unit? also does this have a manual on switch or is it just sensor based operation?

    • +1

If by adjustment, you're referring to the sensor, these are usually below. But typical of ALDI little information online.

I assume to turn off/om once plugged in, it will rely on how you set-up the sensor. Unless you hard wire it to a switch.

      Hope this helps.

You can typically make these things stay on manually by power cycling ON-OFF~ON quickly.

  • Does anyone know whether I could connect these to 26ah batteries for marquee?

  • I wonder if this is warm white, day light or cold bluish light? ie what is the colour temp?

  • +1

Make sure you set it up incorrectly, so that it shines directly into your neighbours house across the road anytime an insect flies by.

  • Any word what they are made of? I have had some supposed Aluminium ones start rusting at every steel attachment point.

  • anyone purchased one of these yet & can comment on build quality etc?

    • +1

I have 2 sitting in the box waiting to be installed.

I had a quick look and the main casing is metal/aluminium and the casing for the sensor is plastic. Feels solid.

      Hop this helps.

      • cheers…sounds like it might be worth having a look at

Did you plug it in and test it? Does it give good light or too glary?

How is the colour temp of 6000K? I'm worried it'll be too blueish - or is it crisp white?

        • Super crisp bright white 👍

  • grr….NO stock both dandenong stores. got a feeling this one may be a little to tricky to find in store as they seem woefully understocked! :(

    • There were still a few in Carnegie if that’s not too far.
