    Whats the difference between this and Teamviewer and Google Chrome Remote Desktop (both are free)?

      I found some comparison info on their website and updated the post. Nothing about Google Chrome Remote unfortunately. Hopefully someone experienced in both can shed some light.

    Teamviewer doesn't work for businesses (personal use only).

    Also, Google Chrome Remote is tricky to set up for unattended access.

      I havent had an issue with google chrome unattended.

      It does however, make you physically log back in every so often after a big update.

      It's not great for business use.

      Agree.

      I don't understand why (good) remote access software is always so damn expensive.

      RA software seems to fall into two categories - free and rubbish, or ridiculously pricey.

        Yeh I hear ya. But it cost lots to hire the good developers to make good products and the market is smaller then say virus /firewall software. Not every mum and Dad's needs remote access software.

    I use google remote desktop and for me it works really well, I can log in from my phone and control a remote PC etc.
    works well for downloading movies while I am at work etc.

    I use connectwise control(formerly screenconnect) and their free option is good enough
