Too Many [AMA] 's Posts

I'm sure I can't be the only one seeing all these AMA posts every day. The sites dedicated to bargains and getting more value for you're money. Its fine having AMA from certain people…like Scotty etc, but it's a bit ridiculous when there is a new one every day. I mean there isn't even a topic for AMA or jobs, has to say something right??

  • Agree. I don't care if you're an 80 year old checkout chick, it just isn't interesting (if you have an actual interesting occupation like the paramedic etc I'm interested)

I would like to ask an 80 year old checkout chick questions

The "I'm so lonely" crowd would jump at the chance to ask any chick a question.

I have a total of 6 students in my year 12 chemistry class. It's amazing.

You can test how many calories a food contains by burning it and measuring the heat released (food calorimetry).

Sounds nice to have such a small class. What topics are you teaching this year? I'm unfamiliar with the QLD chemistry syllabus.

        • I think I saw a barrel of corn chips being burnt by myth busters?

          Edit: I think I'm way off…

        • @John Kimble: Close enough, they were testing it was healthier to eat cornflakes (something like that) or the cardboard box they came in.

        • how much does a bomb calorimeter cost. Is it practical to buy one to use at home?

        • @Gimli: yes

Beats the “I earn 150k pa but don’t know what to do with it” posts that were popular last year

I don't understand the point of these there's too many of xyz posts. You can just ignore whatever doesn't interest you. Things which make it to the front page are things which interest the general ozbargain community or JV.

Or am I now being hypocritical.

  • (AMA) I pick up older women at the local swimming pool

    • +1

      How heavy are they?
Do you throw them over your shoulder or what?
Is there a reason you pick them up? Are you putting them somewhere else?

      • +1

I avoid the fat ones as you can't throw them over your shoulder. I pick them up because they are easy.
