      If your one is going strong I probably wouldn't recommend it, there's a difference but not large enough to warrant buying a whole brand new one I feel. If yours is ageing, then it might be worth it.

      1. 1000dpi VS 4000dpi precision
      2. 40 hrs VS 70 hrs battery life
      3. Switch between computers with button press VS seamless share between computers (Logitech Flow feature, similar to Synergy?)

      Paid $78 for original MX Master 6months ago.
      As a home user, personally I don't see any need for 1 or 3.
      Nice to have 2 but not necessary as the mouse doesn't go on travel.

      I'm sticking with mine.

        Not sure which one they're referring to, but if it's the MX Master 2S, then you can get it slightly cheaper with this method;

        1. Purchase a $50 off $120 Kogan voucher from eBay or the classifieds page.
        2. Create a new Kogan account via this page to get $10 in credit.
        3. Make sure you have signed up to Shipster with the same email, so you can get free shipping.

        Cheapest voucher I can see listed is $9.19, so the total should be $68.19 shipped (119+9.19-50-10). But yes, for the sake of convenience I would probably pay a little extra to get it from TGG. If anyone can be bothered, then you can give this method a try. This is also local stock, so you will be getting a manufacturer's warranty.

          @ChillBro: Ah yes, my bad. Yep an additional $1 item is required, so the price would be $69.19. Furthermore, I recommend that you wait until the end of this month if you want to get it from Kogan, as the vouchers get much cheaper at around $5-6. This is because the vouchers expire on the 28th of Feb. Don't think the prices for the mouse will be changing as this seems to be their normal price.

      Try a melamine foam sponge, aka magic eraser. I buy packs of 100 from China for bout 5 bucks and they tend to work for that sort of light abrasive work.

        I actually have the MX Master in black/grey and MX Master 2S in white/cream. I'd recommend going with the black/grey hands down.

        My MX Master 2S got scuffed while being transported in my bag :(

      Having used MX Anywhere for ages, and tried MX Master supplied at work, I can say that I prefer MX anywhere as it feels more compact. Although if you have big hand and prefer more solid grip, then probably you'd like MX master.

      Anywhere is much smaller without been tiny and better for travelling. The Master is bigger and better ergonomically with a lot more buttons. If you have any carpal tunnel drams the Anywhere is probably not the best choice.

      Personally I prefer the Anywhere as I found it has far better battery life (as in months vs days), however that was based on the old model of the Master so I am not sure if it's improved.
