Cheap Way to Print Plastic ID Cards

Hello,

looking for a cheap way to print plastic ID cards. Preferably directly onto a plastic card as long as the printer is not to expensive. Anyone knows of a cheap way to do that?

The card does not need to hold any information in it, no nfc or other chip needed, just a simple ID card

  Cheapest by far will be print on cardboard then laminate in an ID pouch.
  The card printers I have seen are $1000+

  Print on sticker paper and stick it on plastic cards (from ebay)?

    Unfortunately wouldn't work as i would need it a couple of times every few weeks

  Have you looked into Inkjet PVC Cards that use regular inkjet printers?

    I still expect you will need a special printer for these… no info on the website
