Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - [XB1] and [PS4] - $39 at Target (was $69)

80

Finally, a decent price for MW Remastered. PS4 stock is in store only, and may be hard to come by (I got the last one in Garden City Target, QLD)

    Chirnside Park had plenty yesterday.

I'm happy with what I paid, 19 at midnight day one for Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare.

    • $19? Crikey.

I think he's saying that he bought the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition at launch, and that it cost $119?

They left out 4 player local multiplayer, correct? The only reason I'd buy is for 4 player.

Decent price is a debatable choice of words…

    • You've found it cheaper?

      • I think they're referring to the quality of the game, or lack thereof.

        • I thought as much. MW was a fantastic game - everything after COD: MW2 was pretty sub-par, and declined from there. MW: Remastered is gonna sort me out for a while now. I only play multiplayer online, anyway. So it's gonna be a lot of fun. Really don't care about the COD snobs.

OzGameShop has it for about $37 plus delivery at the moment ($2). If you have player points to bring it down, you might get it cheaper from there. Not bad for local price - $10 cheaper than JB at the moment.

Seen refurbished with infinitive warfare at eb for $29 two days ago.

Impressed how long this game has held that price, very impressive, for a remake / remaster that's what? near 12 months old or something like that and initially sold as a "pack in" with another game, wow.
I bet the COD it shipped with is cheaper to buy.

  • The top choice for raging pre-teen gamers.

In my opinion Call of Duty completely missed their shot at this game doing extremely well. They had the consumer either paying upwards of $100 at launch for a game they were immensely excited about, with the inclusion of another futuristic COD that nobody wanted (Infinite Warfare). Or, they had to wait for over 3 months or so to purchase the standalone game for $60 at launch. If they had released MW Remastered separately with Infinite Warfare at a reasonable price ~$50, I'm sure classic COD fans, like myself, would've bought that game instantly.

    • A+++. I was never going to buy this game bundled with that piece of sh#t Advanced Warfare.
