Great price if you need something like this. So tempted to buy but it'd just be more crap in my house!

  • +1

    celeron, that's cute.

  • +2

Delete Win10 and add a lightweight Linux - perfect

    • +2

win10 itself is worth moore than the system

      • +1

Wow, didn’t realize win10 was included…I wonder if the license sticker included or just preload

        • +1

Sorry, tick the Associate d by mistake!… now I cannot untucked …

        • +3

No license sticker - it's embedded in the bios so it can't be transferred from the system. Makes for keyless clean installs though.

    chip as cheaps

I don't know whether it's your profile pic but I'm liking you more and more (hint, do NOT leave me around your family pets! They will be begging, sitting, shaking paws and full of love (not that kind of love…) after an hour or two with me)

        • For what? Being a great animal trainer? Pfffffft….

You should see what I do to animals with PTSD! They come around!

@kronicmacstigator: Hello i'm Wystri Warrick would you like to meet me sometime?

        • @Wystri Warrick: Since you can clearly use a keyboard I'll assume you don't have four paws and a tail… sorry…

        • @kronicmacstigator: But we want's too, we like's the kronicmacstigator, we like's it…

        • +1

@Wystri Warrick: Sorry… I did cure a foster dog of her food possessive-ness in under three days (short stay) and well… I'm a monster in the RSPCA shelter! I can get through to animals the attendants can't

I like you, I love you, I need you, I want you, I want to do things to you, I want to do bad things to you….

        • +2

"bad things", shhh he'll hear us, shut up, who said that??

    • That one has 32GB eMMC storage, and 11.6 touchscreen.

Performance wise should be identical. Lack of storage can be an issue though.

      • True … 32GB is deal breaker … 11.6" is fine and I like the fact that it is touch screen and "yoga" capable (360 rotation).

    • +1

We actually got this one from in … you only get a couple free gb disk space after installing Office and other basic software…. totally useless.

      • Probably only good with a cloud based storage solution. Which kind of takes the whole 'portability' out of it if it's tethered to your house

  • +1

    Wouldn't the battery be smashed?

    • jayzuz, where did you get that from?

    • I think most replacements can be had from $50-100… oh… yeah… kind of takes the value out of it

  • Out of stock.

    • +2

      That could be a blessing…

        Happy?

Thanks OP, whilst I missed a purchase of the 63GB before it was out of stock, I got the 31Gb version for $127.20 (with P20TECH) via https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lenovo-IdeaPad-100S-14IBR-14-WXG….
Then an easy upgrade with additional onboard space using an M.2 SSD module following https://www.igorkromin.net/index.php/2016/06/18/easily-incre…

I guess you can also install sd card for more storage if you have one lying around.

  • Bah, received an email "oops we don't have stock" today. Great first experience with the mob as estimated delivery was around… Today, give or take 2 days.

    Not worth voting but -1.

    • you need to give them a call or at least send them an email… they're still selling them on their store (5 units left last time I checked)
