3 Pack Apple MFI Certified Lightning to USB Cable (1m/2m/3m) $25/$35/$29 Delivered @ Kogan

250

Didn't seem too bad of a deal, only downside is it's not braided. Also worth noting it's Kogan branded. The 3 metre cable is cheaper than the 2 metres.

been happily using the 3m ones daily for a year or so- no damage so far

  • I have a 2m Kogan cable & it's excellent, much better than the MFi one I bought from Aldi which died after a month.

Sorry but you could get cheaper from Shopping Square eBay Store using the current 20% discount (expires tonight).

    Example: 1m x3 packs

    https://m.ebay.com.au/itm/MFi-Certified-8Pin-Charging-Data-S…

    $14.95 without discount
    $11.96 with 20% discount

The quality is decent, however I don't know how good the Kogan ones are… I guess Kogan ones could be useful if you want to use any of the vouchers you have

Neato deal for the 3m ones, thanks OP

  • Purchased the 3m 3-pack couple of years ago when it was for $9 !!

Yeah, a 3m mfi cable for $3 each.

Out of the three, I am now left with two. One of them carked it.
The one I use now is starting to get moody.
I have to sometimes plug if out and then plug in to make it start working.

i wouldnt trust them being MFI

    • Then again this statement could go for any company that isn't Apple

      • Just look up Kogan on the MFI list under brand on the Apple website: https://mfi.apple.com/MFiWeb/getAPS

Looks like they have a few products on there, so it seems they’ve done the right thing for some?

Anyway, have had my 2m 3 pack for almost 2 years and have been used daily. No issues at all. I just don’t like the look Kogan logo on the connector.

Great cable to strangle your political opponents.

    • Which side of the political fence are you on! >:[

  • Since IOS 11 update I keep getting accessory not supported message with both Apple and generic MFI cables that are not powered via Apple chargers. Are you guys getting that issue? Very annoying as it prohibits from me from using other chargers (eg direct to wall/laptop chargers etc)

    • I've not seen this, for example, I've an $8 1m Lightning cable from KMart in the car and see no such message when that cable is plugged into the cars USB jack which I highly doubt is an Apple certified USB port

  • Wow, that could at least put in some effort to update the supported devices and iOS versions:

    For use with:
    iPhone 6/6 Plus
    iPhone 5/5s/5c
    iPad Air
    iPad Mini
    iPad 4th Generation
    iPod Touch 5th Gen
    iPod Nano 7th Gen
All iOS versions, including iOS 7

p.s. From Kogan Live Chat the model number for the 3m cables was given as KACBL3PLTNE, this matches up perfectly when searching https://mfi.apple.com/MFiWeb/getAPS 👍
