problem with Cygnet is no quick charge, though a bonus is usb C for those consolidating their cable collection.

Love that. They just gotta push it as much as they can. You'll be lucky to get two full charges with most newer phones.

Had a $20.00 Credit voucher and no idea what to spend it on. $9.00 out of pocket seems like a descent price for this. Thanks.

    • Top bargain for $9. Especially if you have a USB C device already or in near future. Well done!

  • Question: If I connected a USB C cable to this powerbank's output and had a micro usb c converter to micro usb at opposite end plugged into a Moto G5+ or similar devices capable of charging faster than 2.4A, would it charge faster at more than 2.4A up to the max of 3A/15W?

I get a feeling the answer is No, as it is not with the QC2/3 technology, but would like to find out it would be faster.

Non-QC USB A/B is always going to be 2.4A max.

      • Thanks. So even out of the USB C 15W into a QC capable micro usb phone such as the Moto G5+?

        • Yeah, should have been more specific - A or B at one or both ends means 2.4.

  • Any idea if this comes with cables?

Comes with A to micro cable only - because nobody has any of those spare!

the digital display is prone to have issues quite easily. i had two cygnett powerbanks with this kind of displays before and both played up after 6mo.

however if you want a bargain powerbank without the needs of a battery display, it's still not a bad price.
