10% off the purchase price (excluding postage costs) of one item when you buy another item in the same category on www.ebay.com.au during the Offer Period.

Only items purchased in the following categories on www.ebay.com.au are subject to this offer:

  • Home & Garden offer categories – Home & Garden (11700), Home Appliances (20710), Pet Supplies (1281).
  • Health & Beauty offer categories - (Health & Beauty (26395), Baby (2984).
  • Fashion offer categories - Clothing, Shoes & Accessories (11450), Jewellery & Watches (281).
  • Computers & Accessories offer categories – Computers/Tablets & Networking (58058).

Both items must be purchased in the same transaction in order for one of the items to qualify for the discount.
If the first item is purchased from one of the Home & Garden offer categories, then the second item must also be purchased from one of the Home & Garden offer categories in order to qualify for the discount. Similarly, if the first item was purchased from one of the Fashion offer categories then the second item must also be purchased from one of the Fashion offer categories, etc.

    Deals are getting worse and worse. Unless you get some unique code to use for yourself for certain % off, everything else seems like a bait.

    Correct me If I am wrong but isn't it essentially 5% of each item? And there is already eBay coupons that give 5% sitewide without needing to buy 2 products.

      I don't think so. I believe eBay wears the full cost of the discount for these types of site-wide deals rather than splitting with the merchants for the store-specific deals. There's more than 100000 products in this deal.

    Terrible deal, like 5% off except
    - you need to buy 2 products
    - both products have to be same price (otherwise <5% off)
    - selected categories only.

          There’s a whole heap of negative comments about the sale yet no neg on the sale itself.

    No deal. Its not 5% off both items because the 10% is only applied to the cheaper item

    ie you cant even cheat the system by getting a $1 and $100 item together because you'd only save 10c. - Clause 7

    Hence why the clause on buyer/seller collusion - Clause 14

    5% codes will yield a higher discount in any scenario.. would be $5.50 in my example above
