T&Cs:*$10 off discount is valid for redemption until and only on ShopMate delivery fees from your USA address to your Australian address, and does not include any discount on shipping fees from your merchant. Discount will be applied to all packages at checkout after the discount code has been redeemed. One redemption per customer to be used in one transaction. ShopMate terms and conditions apply. For full terms and conditions, visit shopmate.auspost.com.au/our-services/terms-and-conditions

Shipping rates vary based on either package weight or cubic weight (dimensions), whichever is greater. See their shipping calculator.

I know there are mixed reviews for Shopmate on ozbargain, but they were the cheapest when compared to the other forwarding services (for my particular package at least) and I'd rather go with a company that is contactable down under than an overseas entity (Shopmate is Australia Post).

Enjoy :)

I used shop meet this year as Amazon would not post a pair of Asics to Australia and their delivery time was actually to my surprise was on time.

I missed out on the 20% discount by one day😫😫😫

When a business can deliver parcels internationally quicker than domestically then that business has a big problem.

And I received a reply to an email within 24 hours.

    • shop meet? which business has problem? don't get it.

  • I've been burn by them, twice in fact. I would NEVER use ShopMate again.

Both times, my goods (from USA) were stuck at AusPost custom for 3 weeks, and I ended up receiving it in 5. Contacted AusPost at the time and they couldn't (or wouldn't) do anything to expedite as ShopMate is owned and run by Singapore Post. I ended up contacting the Postal Ombudsman to resolve.

I have been using Shipito since and they are worth every cent… Every item delivered (from USA) within a week!

    • I signed up to use the service first, then, read online reviews second - I must've been lucky - next time I'll use shipito.

    • I thought ShopMate was owned and run by AusPost

      • Nope - read the T&C as it states Singapore Post. This is further confirmed from my phone discussion with AusPost

    • Just btw, shopmate worked fine for me and I got everything I ordered pretty quick!! Important to consider that online reviews (in general) tend to have a strong negative bias because people often only review when something goes wrong (which is fair).

  • Thanks much needed as I was paying $50!

So just as an update to this, I want to give my experience for others who are thinking about this service. NOTE: The above code WELCOME still works too (16/08/18).

So I got 2 packages delivered to my ShopMate address from the same supplier within days of each other. I requested the 1.9kg (chargeable weight) and 0.6kg (chargeable weight) packages be consolidated. I knew exactly the size of the items in the smaller package, and knew they could be easily squeezed into the larger package. This should have brought the total consolidated weight to 1.9kg chargeable as the surface area of the box was no larger, just the contents were about 200g heavier.

Anyway, after my packages were consolidated, I received the shopmate email and to my surprise the consolidated package had somehow jumped up to weigh over 3kg with a chargeable weight of 3.7KG! This skyrocketed the bill and they had the hide to say they saved me money!! Anyway, I sent off a stern email and logged back into the system a week later after no contact to find my package had be re-consolidated again to a more reasonable size/weight (1.7kg weight, 1.9kg chargeable). This brought the package down to $88 and with the above discount I got it to $77. A fair site better than the $110 they tried to slug me with. The only remaining gripe is they charged me for 2 consolidations because of their uselessness on the first consolidation…..i'll leave that be for now but don't know if i'll use them again after that. My 2cents.

  • Thank you for this! Worked great

  • Just used this code… still works!
