I have been since I realised it was getting harder to use a bike pump with every year that passes. All that inflation.

Got the email with the code but good deals to be had. Managed to pickup a new Selle SMP Stratos saddle for about $185. Small price to pay for the integrity of my perineum! Bikebug has them for $299

    • If you not hurry cheaper off AliExpress.

  • Any recommendations for casual biking ? Reliable and lightweight. Thanks.

Edit: If I can ride 5kms casually, do you guys rekon I'll be able to ride 18k to work with a electric bike ?

Without knowing your level of fitness or how hilly your route to work is, 18 km isnt very far on a bike, most people should be able to ride 18 km. Unless you have to climb through steep mountain passes in a howling blizzard or keepup with the Greenedge training squad most people should be able to manage a leisurely 18 km commute each way. It might seem difficult at first but you will be amazed at how much easier it becomes after a couple of weeks of regular pedalling. I regularly cruise up and barely notice hills that I remember being terrified of when I first started riding.

    • Doesn't an electric bike do most of the work for you? I think you'll manage.

No idea where you live or work but in built up city areas the biggest obstacle is all the traffic lights and roundabouts, it feels like you need to stop every 2 minutes. This adds a huge amount of time. Spend some time studying maps and and plan a route on small side streets.

  • where do you guys buy your tubes?
