Absolutely impressive price, save an extra 5 cents through the app and maybe order a bunch to use a first time coupon code. I'm not sure how helpful AliExpress reviews are but hey, cheap is cheap. Use cashback for 0.085 cents cashback guys

Cheap does not a bargain make. For me a bargain is a cheap price on a branded item. Tronsmart, blitzwolf, even VCE for their type c cables.

    • +3

this is branded, sure Tronsmart, VCE and BlitzWolf are reputable but it's because people tried them first, they took risk. You are free to have your own opinion.

    • Or benson approved.

    • I have a shorter one (50cm) I ordered from Aliexpress. The quality is good and charging is fast plugging into my Tronsmart QC 2.0 charger.

  • Sorry, my bad.

  • These work with iPhone 8/X? Had few cables didn’t charge my new phone :/

    • Wrong type

    • These work with iPhone 8/X?

      Nooooo….

    • they use proprietary cables which is Lightning, this is USB-C

  • +shipping

I thought the same thing but shipping is free if ordering one only, however if you select more than one then a shipping fee is shown even if you reduce it back to one. Reload the page but leave the quantity at one and shipping will be free.

So this actually a CABLE… which isn't USB-IF or Benson approved.
    No deal.

    • +1

you know… none of the "Benson-approved" cables were "Benson-approved" at all until he reviewed them.

      • -2

Yes, and why did he start reviewing them in the first place?

Love the neg's from the people who want to potentially blow their $500+ device with a $1 cable…

        • the very absence of evidence that it is a good cable is not evidence otherwise. let them blow up their phone and then say i told you so.

@tromboc: Great idea! Why bother with this silly 'certification' stuff for anything?
3 phase power equipment? Who needs to certify that?
          Mobile phones? Waste of time!
          Car airbags? Meh.

        • @McFly:

you have not provided any evidence this cable is not fit for purpose. until you can do so, your point is completely moot.

        • @tromboc: So hard to protect people from themselves.

        • @McFly:

          That is not your responsibility.
