Logged into my Amex Online account and saw this deal under the Statement Offers page.

DETAILS
Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $40 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at David Jones by 31/03/2018 to receive one $15 credit. Limited to the first 30,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

OFFER TERMS
Excludes eGift Card purchases.
Excludes products purchased online from the following brands: Luxaflex, Miele, The Daily Edited and Ultraceuticals.
Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-store at David Jones or online at shop.davidjones.com.au.
Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
Credit will not be applied to your Card account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

    Yeah, I guess so. replacement card from Amex. I'm a Westpac customer with an Amex which they are phasing out.

    So it could be a new card member offer only?

  It is for new Amex cards. Do what I did and just get a $40 DJ gift card and wait till a real sale pops up. I can confirm I got the $15 credit.
