I was browsing around and saw JBHIFI selling PS3 console only.
$399 for PS3
Not as great as the 120gb PS3 bargain a few weeks ago, but i guess if anyone want to buy console only, without hassle to sells included games (ie ps3 plus games, etc), this is better option (not sure if we can haggle the price)

as comparison
HN $487 - 320 gb PS3 + GT5, at that point of time, you sell the game, you get better deal. say the game sold around $90, you literally get $397 for 320gb. :)

    I've been put off buying a PS3 for that price due to the recent ToysRus deal.

    However, at current it's a good deal for those looking for one I guess…

      The toys R us one wasn't a "deal".

      It was a clearance, I think a lot of people don't realize that.

      hm interestingly, i tried to ring 2 game, they dont have $328, the cheapest they got is $434.

    Pretty close to what Myer had on last weekend with their 15% off electrical (only exclusion was console bundle deals posted on Catalogue). 459$ RRP for 160GB console……390$ after 15% discount.

      Also I think the sale finished Sunday. Also Myer won't always price match had some old guy that wouldn't price match a Dick smith price. I was upset because I have this stupid Myer gift card I want to spend. :P

    I just bought one from JB at Essendon. They have a fair number there. They tried to upsell me to a game pack. Ha… Can't be bothered mucking about with price matching here and there to save a few bucks…

        Was looking at getting a console + Red dead
        Try and get EB to match this deal (Ive got an eb gift card) Then red dead is $48 ontop when you buy a console

    EB Games is doing 120GB PS3 Slim for $399. As of yesterday.
    You can also get a game added for only $48 extra. Only a few titles available.
    I got Red Dead Redemption.

    Harvey Norman is also doing a new Sony Controller for $88 which includes a Platinum Title from Sony, I got Uncharted 2 thrown in.
