        • +1

          lifetime of shoes

They won’t last anywhere near that. Branded crap.

    • Access the website one at a time please, make a line and wait your turn.

What a shitty website! How could their site struggle with a deal posted just twenty minutes ago here?

    • I managed to get in via incognito (shh don't tell anyone) mode, there were 21 men's shoes and ranges from $150 to $180 before discount…

        • Thanks, yeah I think I ended up on a different sale page, sorry.

        • +1

          @nismo: All good :)

        • No free returns or exchanges for change of mind on sale items $60 and under
          Discrimination against ozbargainers ???

        • +1

@quiteguy: For what it's worth I've had to change sizes a couple of times on sale items bought online and no issue taking them to a bricks & mortar store.

        • +1

          @tightarse:
Thanks.. That is good to know.. I was eyeing some sale shoes around $50..

  • Shoes from $31

    Which shoes are $31 ???

    • +2

The Men's slipper type shoes are $39 before discount, so $31.20

I'll give you the 20 cents if you're upset ;)

      • +6

Hey jv you should click on the website in my profile

I don't click on links on the internet. That's how you get viruses…

        • @jv: That's a shame. It has you in it.

          @Clear:

          It has you in it.

          I doubt it. I'm here.

        • @jv: But I saw your face there.

        • @Clear:

But I saw your face there.

          That's probably my brother.

        • Ok Mr jv, how about we change the word from shoes to Footwear

  • The site is slow as, think it's being ozbargained

The quality of Hush Puppies shoes has really gone down hill. I used to wear them but the last few pairs broke way too quick. Never again.

    • +1

Quite the opposite for me. I swear by them. Just bought another 3 pairs.

      • +2

The last pair I had, the innersole wore down after 2 months. That is not good quality.

        • +2

What do you recommend?, I'm hard on shoes, heels keep breaking.

      • +1

I like Hush Puppies. I have four models: Elliot, Terminal boots, Jedd Mens boots, and a formal one*.
I haven't had them for too long (12 months) but I use them A LOT and I find them extremely comfortable, and no issues regarding quality until now.
I also have a more formal pair that I´ve been using for more than 2 years (I don't know the model because I bought this one from a physical store somewhere in Melbourne), and that's still pretty good. Definitely no complaints.

        • You'll see the difference in the more recent purchases. Moreover seems like you share the load amongst 4-5 pairs… .

        • +2

@spy: Yes, I alternate shoes (as everyone should)…

        • +2

@tderevko: indeed, and hence the good condition

    • +3

If you think Hush Puppies are bad, what other major brands are good on the market? Julius Marlow are the worst that I've tried. Way worse than Hush Puppies

      • +1

        both owned by Pacific Brands

    • +1

Did u wear the same pair 5 days in a row?

Shoes last longer if you allow at least a one day rest.

      • +1

Precisely why I as going to say. My mum was advised by Athletes Foot to buy two pairs (Brooks GTS) and alternate every second day. Two years on, both are still in good shape whereas she used to run down a pair in 6-8 months.

  • +1

Thanks heaps TA, purchased 2 pairs for $110 delivered. These will last me the year at work :)

  • +1

One day I'll want to look like a grandad and buy hushpuppies.

    • Haha..i know right..the styles look so daggy.

  • +1

    I like puppies.

  • +2

    Site is borked

  • +1

I got some ridiculously wide shoes with the last sale. Just be careful. I run a D and copped like a EE fitting.

Additionally, the quality of Hushpuippies is absolute shite compared to what it was.

HPs have undoubtedly dropped in quality from my experience

    So, meh!

    • +1

Woah the reviews made me hold of from purchasing. Thanks

  • +2

Poor quality. Work shoes only last me less than a year. No idea how to unvote my +vote.
