BTW hammocks are really only good for one person - you might think that a double hammock sounds romantic or whatever but trust me it doesnt work.
I'm with Mike on this one young_dazza. I think they call the ones in your link Brazillian hammocks or something, like lying on a blanket with the ends tied together. Mexican ones are very light weight, sort of like a fishing net but the threads adjust to your body shape, nigh on impossible to fall out of. Correct me if I'm wrong Mike!
I slept in one for 4 nights at a mates place (yes there were hippies involved) and it was very comfortable and cool! It was hot weather but because of the net like structure any breeze was all around me.
And yes, it is very "cozy" with a chick in there too, but hey, I didn't complain :-)

Hi thanks for your comments. The Tropicana one referred to is quite a different type of hammock to our Mexican hammocks. Our ones are all individually hand-woven in a diamond weave pattern that provides much superior comfort, support and quality. They are not factory manufactured canvas type such as the Tropicana hammocks link. Cheers, Mike.
