Thanks for the post adr8, I already have the Lii-402 and am quite happy with it.

  • +3

    Free expedited shipping too, cheers!

Really happy with my 202. Does a great job with my 18650 and NiMH cells.

    Is this a reliable seller…?

    • +1

They are owned by GearBest so expect a similar experience and shipping time. I haven't had any issues with them for small item orders, items all arrived after 3 or 4 weeks.

  • Are these good for eneloops? Better than the basic Sanyo charger?

    Thanks!

    • +2

Yes this will charge NiMH batteries at up to 1A. The basic charger only charges at 400mA.

    • +1

Yes good for eneloops, the LiitoKala are smart chargers so better than the basic Sanyo timer based charger, no risk of overcharging which will prolong the life of your batteries.

      • Thanks, I'll do anything for my eneloops. Ordered.

Hmmm any deals on the Lii-500?

  • need to login for coupon to work … can't just use paypal ….so spam forever ???

    • You don't have a throw away email like Hotmail for this kind of thing? Thought everyone does?

      • they get clever and start spamming the paypal account email also ….. swapping paypal email is a pain.

I have the Lii-202 from a previous sale….whilst it charges batteries, it also makes the batteries warm / a bit hot. My La Crosse BC-700 doesn't do that no matter how long you leave it in there.

  • Lii-402 really is cheap. I would've jumped on this one if I don't already have two smart chargers.

  • I am looking for a charger that will charge phone and tablet batteries outside the device, does anyone know if one of these can do the job if I hook up the terminals?

    • Phone and tablet batteries are wildly different in form and voltages. Go get a variable lab psu.

      • Don’t think he wants to blow them up..! A lab supply will charge unregulated…

  • One LiitoKala Lii-402 Charger purchased. Thanks OP.

  • I have the Lii-202 good for eneloops and will also charge the Lion 18650 etc batteries. Very handy little usb charger

  • cheers, 402 for me

    • How come I can't get the offer like you guys please any help?

  • Can these be used with any usb wall phone charger or laptop/powerbank usb ports only?

    • -4

      Input Voltage: DC 5V
      Input Current: 2A

So you need a Quick Charge charger.

    • I use a spare 5V 2A USB wall phone charger.

    • Basically Yes..

if ur chargers’ output meets the 5v/2a output rating like most Samsung or similar chargers…

Quick chargers have a variable Voltage output, prolly still work fine though as charger should sense a standard device is plugged in & not a quick charge device..

    • Don't why neg my reply.

"Quick Charge 1.0 was introduced in 2012 and it made use of a 5V/2A charger"
      Source: https://www.gsmarena.com/charge_test-review-1239p2.php

At least, you have to have a QC 1.0 Charger.

Most Laptop/Powerbank usb ports only have 5V/0.5A or 5V/1A output.

And most usb wall phone charger (except usb charger for pad or QC charger ) only have 5V/0.5A or 5V/1A output as well.

I know many samsung/xiaomi/SONY/huawei phones support Quick charge, but there also are a lot of phones still with 5v/1A charger and can not be used on this battery charger.

  • Ive ordered a few things from them and never had Spam emailed to me

    • will give them a go ….. hope no spam

  • Thanks for this. Really handy since it can act as a power bank if needed.

  • Just a heads up if you are unfortunate enough to have a gearbest account with some gear best points it might end up a few cents cheaper using the points especially if they apparently expire in Mar/April each year?

Saves you from signing up to another website /potential spam too (unless of course you are like me and really like buying clothes from rosegal)

  • Do I have to charge in pairs?

    • +1

Nope at least for the Lii-202 it is separate channels… assuming it'll be the same for the 402

  • What's the difference between the Liitokala Lii 402 and Liitokala Lii - 500? They look similar.

    • The Lii-500 is also an analysing charger and has an informative LCD display. Also comes with a wall adapter so DC input instead of USB input.

  • I'm mostly happy with the Lii-202 I bought from GearBest via an earlier post. However, a few things: some NiMh batteries warm up approaching full charge; the supplied micro-USB connector is not a great fit; and there was duff soldering of one of the blue charge LEDs. Apart from that, these chargers do a good job.

  • Which charge setting does everyone do for your typical aa/aaa batteris with these chargers? 500ma or 1000ma?

    • I use 500mA for AAA and 1000mA for AA.

      • Thanks! And one last thing did you ever experience any of the buzzing noise some purchasers have randomly experienced, and have you found any of the batteries to get a bit 'hot' from the charging at all?

        • I have several LiitoKala chargers (few Lii-202's & Lii-500) and none of them make buzzing noises. The batteries do become warm but no different to the batteries that come off my other chargers, two Nitecore D4's and a Zanflare C4.

        • +1

@adr8: RESPECT hahaha you sure have a heap of decent chargers. Why so?

Thanks for the post - I too purchased one!

        • @Heb: I initially bought a Nitecore D4 which I found wasn't genuine so got a refund and got to keep it, so bought a genuine D4 after that. The others I got thanks to OzBargain as they were too cheap to pass up. I don't use the D4's anymore just the Lii-500 and C4, the Lii-202's are great for travelling.

Received my LiitoKala Lii-402. Not bad shipping. One week. Time to test out my eneloops out needing a recharge.

    • Got mine today as well.

Do I need to set the mode with eneloops? It seems to be on 0.5.

    • My tracking says attempted delivery which is bullshit two people home all day dogs and a door bell and nothing showed up at all.

      • This is the BS im glad i don't have to deal with no more since being able to have stuff sent to work. We have a receptionist that will sign for it.

        • it just got delivered.
The driver told me whoever tried to deliver it before couldn't find my address.
Kinda weird when it's a house with very clear number on the letter box, it's not a hard to find place at all.

  • This is deal still on?

  • I tried to buy it but I am getting:
