Quite a few people were looking for this when the single boiler was part of the 20% off ebay deal. It's now on clearance at the good guys for $794. Not the cheapest it's been but alot cheaper than competitors.

One for the coffee, keeping it at a constant temperature while the other is for the steamer. Allows you to brew the coffee while steaming the milk at the same time
Steaming and espresso shota require two different temperatures (espresso is a bit cooler). With one boiler you need to wait for the boiler to change temperature between pouring a shot and using the steam wand.
Many single boiler allow you not to wait to steam milk through heat exchange systems, and still give good temperature stability. My old machine, the rocket Giotto allowed this. Dual boiler machines are more complex and expensive to fix but would provide adavantage if you are making a larger number of coffees in short period.
Cue incoming new model with fancy colour display. It will still be the same old not-copper boiler that fail after 2.5 years. Get extended warranty on this one.
I've had this for around 5 years now, I use it every day and make 3 cups each morning. Still going strong…
Did you have to repair the machine or replace any parts， during those 5 years ?
Not really… I've only replaced the portafilter basket as the old one didnt seem to clip in as tight as before over time. Maybe its just the usual wear and tear? But it still works fine, I just felt like getting a new one. But that was about it, no other replacement, repairs etc.
Any details on the new model? Haven't been able to find any info on this online!
