  • 68 clicks so far on this deal, as at 7.36pm aest.

I'd say that's an absolute click frenzy!!!

    Lol

Edit. - I noticed that the Daytona style ($140) is also on sale. This will be pleasantly surprising news for the single reviewer named "George" who rated this product as a 5 out of 5 stars, at it's full rrp.

  • the way my kid destroys shoes, these bargain prices would work out to $1/day rather than $0.25/day i currently get from his cheap shoes.

Can someone (please) convince me that a 130cm/26kg bag of bones 6 year old will get 3x the wear and comfort out of these before they are annihilated (last pair has half the leather gone off the shoes within 3 days of term start), in comparison to Aldi/Spendless etc etc shoes?

I as a 95kg/6 foot/late 30's bloke can easily see the value in expensive, well cushioned shoes, but not for kids, they simply don't weigh enough.

    • Read your comment twice, still don't know what you are trying to say .

Anyway. Clark's sport black shoe is prob the longest lasting school shoe that you can get in my opinion.

They are stiffer, but that's a guaranty of longer lasting .

Asics are great, but 2 terms then stitchez starts to come undone.

Sketchers…..Simply crap. Awesome comfort probably, but not durable at all.

If you are buying crappier shoes from Aldo or big w or Kmart. Then no comment. Each to their own. But invest in better shoe for your kid. They wear it 8 hours a day for 5 days a week.

A active boy will ruin any shoe in two terms. Yes , costly….But what can you do. Nothing.

      • I'm trying to say that the quality of the sole and stitching means nothing, because the leather on the toe and sides is shredded in a heartbeat, and my wife won't send him to school in them. We have tried the full spectrum of kids shoes, and I appreciate that Clarks are better made shoes but what i am saying is that the top of the shoe gets wrecked aesthetically far before the rest of the shoe can realise it's value.

        • Yeh….Kids at that age has no idea how to look after their shoes. They kick, drag, and all sort of silly ways to walk.
My kids too, ….Sometimes I think I should buy them those metal toe capped shoes.

        • @lovepub: You would too if you were forced to wear these shoes. My feet hurt thinking about it. Its so archaic; forcing children to wear leather shoes should be banned.

  • By the way,. Don't feel this as too much of bargain.

Mather's shoe shop always 20% or 25% off for Clark's shoes in my experience
