  Take S9+, Buying outright and use it on a $35 BYO plan work out to be $84 a month, while lock in a 24 month contract is about $80-$90.
  
  It all depends on what one is looking for. For example the pass two weeks has lots of carrier promotion going on and sure its a good time to sign up if your are ok to lock in 24 months. on the other hand BYO is only 12 months contract and the way it is going now with data offered by carriers, I think there will be much better deal within 6-12 months.
