Geekbuying are running a notice-only deal for the Mi Sphere Camera ($265 AUD).

It's not the lowest historically, but its better than a lot of the recent deals on it.
Great little cameras, getting more popular over here. I would jump on it, but have a cupboard full of them.
Last deal a couple missed out, so posting it here for anyone who did miss out.

It has in camera 6-axis digital video stabilisation.

3.5K video resolution
Supports 128GB maximum SD cards

  • Good deal at the moment but about $45 more than what it's been previously.

    • It's not the lowest historically, but its better than a lot of the recent deals on it.

Yeah it's been lower, but this one popped up so figured i would post it. Most recent deal I remember was around USD$180 or so. Local stock is significantly higher prices of course, but for under $200 USD via priority line; figured there would be someone keen out there.

I think they are actually under-valued, but that's just cause I love the one I regularly use :)

      • Cheers. Apart from 360 photos, are they actually any good?

        • I have one on the back and one at the front when I am taking the bikes down the track at Eastern Creek. I think they are fantastic for video in this regards, high FPS, good stabilisation and 360 degree view is great when you want to see every perspective from the bike; including your positioning on the bike - saves having two taped together or one front one rear facing etc.

I used to have 2 360fly 4K devices previously and I think the Mi Sphere smashes them (paid $500ea for the 360 fly when they first came out as well). In fact, I've got to figure out where my 360 flys are, should sell them.

  • Shows 199 USD for me? Could be because I'm on mobile

    • Nope, ozb stripping out the campaign details:

      https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiaomi-Mijia-Panorama-Camera…

NB: medium=referral&utm_campaign=elsa&utm_term required for this deal.

It's in no way a referral to/from my account - it's their tracking for the deal (popup deal notification tracking).

      • Ah OK now I got 195.99 USD. This includes priority shipping?

        • $1.34 for priority from memory? AU_Express

My math is bad tonight, updated the total - its $197.33USD express delivered. $195.99 via standard

  • How does this compare to the insta360 one? I’ve been looking at getting one recently, but Xiaomi has never come up on comparative reviews

Looks better than the insta360 one

    • The Insta360 pro wins hands down, 8k video always will, but the 360 sphere produces better video than the insta360 one that goes for around $200usd.

      • +1

Thanks guys. I have no budget for the 360 pro, have decided on this. Cheers!
