I have my own "in built" white noise machine….it's called Tinnitus.

I feel ya. Although for me it's a nightmare.

    • +1

Then you'd know that noise machines such as this can help sufferers fall asleep.

  • Gotta love that Oceqn wave!

    Wut?

  • +5

wow….I thought you could get apps to do this for free…

    • +2

You can, but if you pick the wrong 'free' app, you get your white noise interjected with LOUD ADVERTISING!

    Get an Echo/Google Home instead.

This. Can play a lot more than white noise (Google 'Relax with Google Home' for all the sounds you can play to relax)

From the picture it looks like a Qi charger on top with a bunch of USB charging ports on the front.

    • Literally the only reason I clicked

    • Yes, it is a wireless Qi charger too. Smart phones in "Q1 standard" can be chargered.

    Next level garbage.

  • TWO WORDS "RELAX MELODIES"

I just go on youtube and play this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f77SKdyn-1Y and sleep with my headphones on.

  • Try YouTube or dozens of free smartphone apps.

    • The sounds generated by white noise machine are different from what you found on Youtube, apps on smartphone. Sounds generated by the white noise machine/ sound sleep machine are more pure- near to the original nature sounds. At the same time, there will be no looping for these sounds.

      • +1

So your saying it’s pure white noise vs the mobile apps that are more an off white noise?

        • Yes, the difference is the purity of the sound.

        • @Vincent19849: purity of the sounds, or is that your claim sounds purely dubious?
I presume that the sounds on your device are digital. If so, what frequency etc? I seriously doubt that the specs will be any higher than what people can get for free of the net.
How can a device without looping simulate a natural sound even better than a recording of the real thing?

        • @newdad: In fact, the sounds in the device is on recording of the real thing. It is not simulation.

          @Vincent19849:

Lol. This is surely a joke? Purity of sound? Purity of sound is down to a number of things and most of those things are subjective. Nonetheless, we're not talking about listening to the Sydney Symphony Orchestra here. We're talking about white noise.

Thanks for giving me a laugh.

Try an FM radio without an antenna tuned into nothing.

10-15 years ago this product would of probably sold its pants off but I really can’t justify this over a free app.
White noise is actually great to help you sleep during the day or if you have an infant that wakes easily.

    • You got the point on the white noise. To bring people a better sleep is the reason why we manufacture this product. We will learn the feedbacks here and keep improving the quality.

      • The only kind of "white noise" machine that actually has sales these days is one with a real fan in it. Looks like ozbargain mostly use air purifiers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers for white noise; aside from apps.

Smart/Bluetooth speakers are cheaper than this, and the purity of an Amazon echo/google home mini is "good enough".

  • .. so far .. most of the comments are sooo funny .. better than reading a joke book!! Pls keep the jokes coming.
