This is a terrible offer and doesn't come even marginally close to offsetting the airport tax.

Even when the offers for spend $20/10 at the newslinks were available it was very difficult to justify buying anything there!

    I know Newslink in T3 doesn't sell Myki (I asked last Saturday), so I assume they won't top up Myki either.
    
    There's a Myki machine in Arrivals (for sales and top ups), but it's not a Participating Retailer in this offer.

      Correct, there are no retail outlets at the airport which offer myki top ups.

  I agree items are definitely marked up, fixed price magazines and phone top-ups are probably the way to go.
  Could work out to be a decent deal for travellers buying last minute essentials.
