Or $50 cheaper delivered Samsung 55" UA55MU6100WXXY Smart TV $841.50 Delivered @ eBay Appliance Central - checked still available.

Appliance Central increased their price, its now $873 delivered (After coupon) if you live metro, + $35 elsewhere.

The link is correct as the VIP10 coupon is for the good guys website, however you can also purchase it from their eBay store for the same price using eBay 10% off Sitewide ($75 Min Spend).

Would end up slightly cheaper purchasing directly from TGG website if you use cashback + discounted gift cards.

Still cheaper at Appliance Central, especially if want delivered. Marked as expired but is just that price increase you quote.

Delivery $35 for me (close to TGG store). Recently, TGG took 2 weeks to deliver UA50MU6100WXXY.

Good correction. Removed ebay details just before your comment😀

Note, there is no way to turn off wifidirect with these Samsung TVs. Can be very annoying if you get multiple people trying to connect to your TV whilst watching a movie or gaming because it pops up with a yes or no confirmatiuon box over the top of the screen.

    • I’m also going to have it negative vote because I prefer 65”…

It's a serious issue and a well known security flaw…

.. serious??.. really?? .. didn't the article suggest "don't sweat" over this issue??
Doesn't sound like a big deal for 99 percent of the population.

      • So get a 65". The sale is site wide

That's NO reason to NEG a deal.. A deal is a deal, whether you like the product or not…!

      • Got nothing to do with liking or disliking a product. It's about notifying people that the product has a problem that they need to be aware of.

        • As I said, no need to neg the poster for the deal, I'm sure ppl can easily read ur comments!! As do most ozbargainers…! Meanwhile back at the ranch…

    • Not sure why would multiple people from your house connect to your tv while you're watching or gaming? Unless there's a hacker or neighbour close enough to be able to access wifi direct on your tv? This is short range and not a deal breaker for most people, i have samsung with wifi direct and didn't even know this issue exist until i read your comment. FYI, there's a way to turn it off, just disable wifi on your tv and you wont be bothered anymore.

      • Wifidriect has a range of up to 200m and disabling wifi does not disable wifi direct. You can see this by connecting to the TV with wifidirect on your mobile when you have wifi internet of the TV disabled…

I regularly am offered 3 neighbours TVs to connect. Those TVs are about 50-100m away. Don't think they're all Samsung. (My requests are either rejected or not answered.)

Having just bought a Samsung smart TV (50" version of this), it is disturbing.

Yesterday was the first time I needed to block access to my tv & network by someone outside my home.

So I'm glad I read the comment about this issue first!

Having a request to connect pop up with yes/no boxes is a worry - same place as notifucations about changes to scheduled recordings. I used to automatically click yes to to get back to view TV program but may accidentally allow access by someone outside house - if I don't read message!! Failing to respond leaves the Box on the screen for a while.

It's not a reason to neg this deal, but potential buyers should be made aware of this issue.
It is a reason to reconsider purchase.
