Same. I added the Kylo Ren Brickheadz and it only ended up an extra $1 because the discount jumped from $35 to $50.
I did something similar. The restaurant alone was $151 ($35 off $150+ purchase), but adding $14 worth of Lego brought the total to $200, therefore triggering the $50 discount and lowering it to $150.
In short, got a $1 discount by adding more Lego sets. Go figure.

True, at these prices it's not like it's a risky "investment" as long as you buy the more collectable sets.
That's what i used to do. Hell, thee set i just sold a for $370 i only paid $250 for (i bought it to build for myself, but don't have room to display sets that i already own and prefer). Even if it eventually flips a profit i can't be bothered making the effort to sell, pack and post again.

Yeah it’s all local fulfilment out of existing stores. Toysrus do not have an online/seperate warehouse. So the stores just pick the cheapest delivery method for the weight and dimensions.

Received one of my TRU package. I order a temple of airjitzu, they sent me a smaller ninjago temple instead (70643), but charged me temple of airjitzu as the package slip clearly showing it was a temple of airjitzu. I am going to complain tomorrow, dont think they would be arguing as luckly they sent the item in a smaller carton box with clear order reference, temple of airjitzu definately wont fit.
I've been waiting on a TRU parcel via "courier" for 8 days now, initially coming from what Google tells me is 33km away. Let's just say that Fastway is not fast.
I placed two orders, the one from Fastway arrived next day from another state but the one from Australia Post took a week within the same state.
$106 for the Apollo V delivered is awesome!
