        @jamestownfx: I have the viofo A119s V2 and i can recommend it to everyone. Pictures are sharp for identifying license plates and during the night I believe it's as good or else better compared to higher end dashcams.

        @jamestownfx: I vaguely remember people saying the main issue was with the power connection to the GPS module and they got around it by leaving the power cord plugged into the main unit. I believe the GPS still works in this configuration.

        At least I think that's how it works on Amazon.

    Well the information says it works up to 65 degrees Celsius, so I guess it depends how hot it gets in your car.

    And it is supplied by AnkerDirect AU so it should have an Australian warranty

      I always have windows partly open when parked in the sun as i have the rain shields installed. I use sunshade for windscreen and have tinted windows. Not much more i can do.

  Would be great if we could use something like this to get terrible/dangerous drivers in line.
  If we could provide footage of very dangerous driving that we see, and have that footage acted upon by authorities to warn and then fine/charge dangerous drivers which Im sure we all are witness to, at times, during our daily commutes.
